Chelsea need to increase their bid for Bolton's Nicolas Anelka from £10m to £15m if they are to secure the Frenchman's services. (The Sun)

it's a lose-lose situation for the Trotters right now.
Anelka wants out but they've already denied Chelsea's first offer for Nic.
either Anelka leaves and we lose a great player or Anelka stays and causes harm with his bad attitude.
so Bolton needs to just pick their poison.
Cisse would be nice but i don't know if i can trust somebody who's broken BOTH their legs on separate occasions just from awkward landings, not byanything else. also, Pape Diouf has said that Marseille won't be selling Cisse during this transfer window so i guess we'll see.

I like Chelsea's signing of Anelka, unlike the other strikers they've wasted money on, Anelka's proven himself in England.
Klinssman has been announced as Bayern Munich's new coach for 08-09, I cant wait to see them play in the Champs League next season. They'll easily beone of the more entertaining teams in Europe if Klinssman uses the same attacking tactics that helped Germany finish 3rd in the World Cup.

from what i understand, it was jens himself who chose to stay and turned down the transfer. i'm hoping that means he's gonna stop acting like he'sabove everyone else and just try to get aps like any other hard worker would do. it's only logical anyhow, if he wanted to play for any ol' club hewould've accepted the bid to borussia.

rumors of a £12 pound transfer of Huntelaar from Ajax to United are swirling. Probably just rumors though.
