Making my first turkey today with the fam, by myself. in the kitchen. one pan. all day. with some pie! :smokin

Found out I have jury duty during Christmas break from school yesterday :x :x :x :smh:

i feel the need to say this. tomorrow tonight will be the first time in my life that Black Friday is becoming black thursday night into friday. if you dont know what i mean, watch some commercials around you and look at the stores ( Target, Walmart, Kmart etc.) that are opening on thursday night during thanksgiving, and im talking eight p.m. early. many of these workers dont get much time off and are working to make ends meet. the one day off that everyone in this country deserves is thanksgiving. im going to ask all of my friends to try to realize, no matter how good the deals are, that taking part in shopping on thursday is only pushing further and further the lure of black friday, until eventually one year it just becomes black thursday. take your time, relax and enjoy your thanksgiving, and let others enjoy their time with their family like you would want.
 
Damn. You know its time to delete a contact when something bad happens to you and you wanna vent and be consoled and their response is "That's terrible. But Happy Thanksgiving!".
