Someone on the forum posted he knew someone selling Penny V Dolphins Size 12 for $180 shipped.  Since I was Size 12, I decided to get the guy's number so I could negotiate with him.

After verifying the shoes were real, he told me to send him a gift of $180 on PayPal.  I told him that I don't gift people because I have been scammed before, and instead I told him to send me an invoice.  He responded that the price would increase to $220, because sending an invoice would increase the PayPal fees, increase the shipping costs and tracking number.

I told him I was willing to take the $40 increase as long as he would send the invoice (because they are insured).  He sent me a message for payment claiming it was an invoice, while in reality it was not an invoice at all.  Basically he lied about sending an invoice.  I told him that his invoice was not an invoice, yet he tried to deny it by saying he followed the instructions on making an invoice (total BS).

I called him out on the fake invoice by saying I talked to a PayPal rep and they confirmed it was not an invoice.  I told him to resend the invoice.  He didn't respond to my message, so I assume he knows that I know he was trying to scam me.

So with them knowing this guy is providing fake invoices, did they suspend his account?!
 
I wasn't looking to pick up from JJ, but damn, once something hits kickdeals, you see the sizes go grey really quickly.

Just let go of my Suns, I thought I'd get used to the air bubble but I just never liked it enough against the orange/grey I really wish they would've left it smokey or  actually orange/purple but whateva.  I still gotta track down some red eagles in a 13.. ha g'luck me -.-;
 
Never ordered from Villa before. My order is still in "Processing" status. Anyone else that was able to get their orders done in the same boat?
 
Yeah I spoke to soon. Few hours after I posted that message I got the email.

I'm glad I waited. I was considering paying up or trying to make a trade but no good deals near me. Many Many thanks, Aceboogie86. Got a few other pairs coming in this week but when these bad boys hit my door......

Not a bad look, the Penny V has such a clean, crisp design that bright lace swaps accentuate the lines of the shoe instead of distracting from it like a lot of swaps do.
 
has anyone got their pair in an og style nike box?one pair of dolphins came to me that way...and i just saw a fellow nter writing about a pair of jordan 3 88s coming to him from nike.com in europe in an og box...anyone with the same experience?

Like, the orange box? Or the OG OG box which was black and brownish?Where did you order from
 
Why would the penny 5 come in an og box? It's a new shoe. You sure they're legit?

Unfortunately no, because I didn't actually talk to a PayPal rep.  I just wanted to see what his reaction would be.  His silence told me all I needed to know.
 
I would've reported him to make sure he doesn't hit anybody else over the head
