Got my pair in from Nike, first pair I've had in hand that's "unpadded", not sure I'm impressed.

Trainers are the model that  had padded and unpadded variants. The racers in your hands have always been unpadded, and virtually see through for what its worth.

That unpadded bs padded debate is nitpicking at its finest. There is LITTLE TO NO difference. If all pairs came unpadded or unpadded there woudnt be a debate. Since some come padded/unpadded thered a needless debate.

Its the same ****. Dont like it, then return it for someone else to enjoy.

Racers have never been padded, and besides the aesthetic, unpadded trainers  make for about a half size difference in sizing for most.

If I don't like it what does it matter to you. It's not nitpicking at all, I just prefer a lined shoe. Thanks for your positive response

End is hilarious and so is believing anything a rep ever says.

I understand this may be annoying but no one can convince me these aren't lesser quality than the older racers.  The shoes are much less comfortable, flyknit material isn't as flexible, and they make a strange sound on my foot at least when they bend.  Hopefully they will break in nicely but just some observations.  Every other racer I've had has been extremely comfy out the box.
