That paint chipping/cracking seems common on the Racer for whatever reason. For only one wear, I would probably tweet, call, or email Nike. Luckily my pair of Volt Racers are still ok after two wears, but we'll see how long that lasts.

LoL. only if retail. Paid over retail for two and after getting the two 9.5, I got a pm for a pre owned one from a NT'er. Haven't checked NDC for any stock the past few weeks. Another one won't hurt and double up for the wife.
