Well I'm sure a lot of us have seen enough, but in case others would like to see some more, I got my pair! I'm in the middle of a lace-swap and debating which to go with, so bare with me on that. Thank you to the person who got this sent to me in SF...

The state of niketalk and the sneaker culture has changed dramatically, hence why after the changes to niketalk servers and mods a lot of people are lurkers rather than giving solid info like there used to be. Niketalk in 2000 was an amazing place where people helped each other out and shared the passion for shoes and the sports and athletes they are connected to. There was no real resale market other than a few high priced grails that nowadays would be overlooked by the yeezys, Lebron, Kobe, kd, and flyknit era.

Nowadays since the spike of shoe companies using influencers rather than athletes and sports, have turned the market into the "cool factor" we are talking about and if someone else has it you must not be doing it right. Resale has skyrocketed from most shoes selling for no more than 2x retail in the golden years to now people paying thousands for a shoe that has little to no history or story other than it looks cool.

Times have changed and it's sad to see the yeezy effect changing the culture. taking pictures and selling them are cooler than wearing them.
welcome to the real world sir , where life changes

only place where life doesnt change is communist russia and communist korea

these are quite nice.. a little work and they'll be even nicer.. need to wear both the Lagoons and these to get some creases formed right away before I start some custom work..
Just had a thought, maybe sherbets could finally come to some use.

btw, these already come with white laces for a cleaner look..

Despite the weave, with the collar, tongue and laces I feel that it's a white dominant shoe, which is why I couldn't put a finger on what exactly was off about the colorway at first. Giving it that 1.0 midsole look balances it out properly.

I might go light grey with my stripe though. Gotta search for the painting tutorials now...

Not to hate or anything but I hope the mc 2.0s do NOT restock... here's my reasons why .. 1) they lose the cool factor .. once the oreo 2.0s came out again everyone got them and I never seen so many racers in SF in my life particularly that color .. 2) the multicolor is such a prestigious colorway by restocking it takes that away by having too many pairs out.. 3) loses the WANT factor .. you see so many pairs and you will be like "oh those are cool but I already have them nothing special..
His join date tho. Enjoy your MC2s my man.

1) Shoes don't make you cool. Especially after a post like this.
2) MC 2s especially don't. Come out with a pair of OG Volt Trainers, Blue Glows, Uni Reds, B/W Trainers, etc...and then we can talk

For those on the fence with green streaks/streak greens, or whatever they're called... Check em out in person if you can. Just saw em at a footlocker, VERY nice. Pics don't do justice IMO.

In pics, blue midline looks out of place, but it blends well with the upper.
