to be honest, i wouldn't share the customization methods either. Next thing you'll have everyone PM'ing him asking him questions.

We're getting butt hurt now because someone won't share their methods now. Seent it all.

He shared the first method so I don't see why sharing the "safer" method would be any different other than

1. Exclusivity

2. Making money off of custom sales

Ding ding ding!  I thought the whole point of this all was to stunt on instagram lol

Jk, I don't really post on IG even though I used to manage my previous company's social media and marketing.

I do see the potential of making money doing customs based on posting a lot on Instagram and getting known though so you can't knock someone else's hustle.

I know racers are a running shoe.
But I've seen post of people working out in them.
That being said has anyone done crossfit training in these shoes.
TIA.
lol racers do nothing to benefit you in crossfit or any exercise at all

better to work out in flat shoes with no  rise like chucks

afaik everyone works out in racers for aesthetics

jesus 500 for a sole swap. i rather just enjoy both pairs by themselves. no custom is worth that much.
i can see the reasoning behind keeping the secrets for yourselves but don't come on here flaunting you found out the secrets just to keep it to yourself(not directed towards you lemon or anyone in particular.)

And what's the problem with 1 and 2 if thats what he chooses? Does that make him a terrible person?

Don't workout in them. I wear mine to the gym all the time, but only if I'm doing something that doesn't require me to stand up (seated curls, shoulder press, bench, etc.). The shoe is incredibly narrow so if you try anything crosstraining-esque, it'll be very easy to lose your balance and get injured. I cringe every time I see people squatting or deadlifting in running shoes or shoes with soft soles.

Go with shoes with almost no sole, Chucks, Metcons (these and Reebok are prob some of the best for crosstraining), or real lifting shoes like Adipowers or Romaleos.

I've been keeping my mc 2.0's deadstock since they arrived. It's been kind of hard finding an opportunity to wear them with a suitable outfit lol. I do take them out of the box once in a while to admire them.

Skyrocket prices expected for MC 2.0 since kanye was seen with them

JK this is photoshopped, he actually wore the black yeezys on this picture

The same reason why people were so quick to jump down the throat of the person who wants to sell his Oreos because multiple people at his gym were wearing the same shoe.

Just because one person is more "established" in this thread and has a greater collection of flynits doesn't subject him without scrutiny.

You're holding one person higher than the other on what merit? Their collection size?

In the end it's all about exclusivity. Which people were frowning upon.

I think theres a difference in buying/liking a shoe no one has and discovering a more efficient method of a sought after skill no one knows... profitable skill nonetheless. I get why someone would not post their "new method" to doing something but I really don't understand why people mention things they have no intention of elaborating on or revealing like in the Kobe 9 thread some kid comes in and posts how he found a pair of Kobe Masterpieces for like under 300 bucks but says he's not gonna tell anyone where, what the hell is the point of that? Either help someone out or just keep it to yourself.

For the people who clean their racers in the washing machine.. Has anyone did multiple pairs at a time? Put them in separate pillow cases ? Or basically same rules as washing clothes.. No blacks or whites with colors. (Not racist)

Whats the point of pillow cases? I've never used one and never had a problem. Thrown huaraches, Roshes and Racers in the machine all at once.

Speaking of washing them, how long do you put it in for? I recently got a new washing machine and it has a "smart sensor" so I cant control how long it gets washed or anything like that.

Gave the sole and midsole a good brushing under cold water in the sink first. Removed laces and insole. Then I put both pairs(Hyper/volts and Photo blues)in the same pillowcase, washed it at 30ºC(wool) for a cycle. I guess the overly cautious would use a pillowcase to avoid damage to the machine and shoes.

Came out clean, so I'll stick with this practice.

I include other running shoes when I wash mine all the time. I used to use a pillow case when I started to use the washing machine, but, now, I just throw them in with the regular load.

For protection. One time, one of my Lunaracer 1s' heel area became ruined with a DEEP cut when I put them in without a pillowcase... Since then, fortunately, nothing has happened to the shoes that get machine washed WITHOUT a pillow case.

Thanks for you guys input.
Thought I asked since a have a few racers didn't want to go and buy other shoes.

Ive worked out and deadlifted in Racers before, they are terrible for deadlifting but if you arent going to deadlift, squat or any type of Olympic lifts then youre fine.
