Partial shipment came in, these were TTS for me and Im glad I listened to myself.

So they changed the white swoosh on the red trainers to black? I really liked the white swoosh. Now it looks like trials. Still nice looking though

Arrived in NYC yesterday and first stop was at 21Mercer for a pair of these

So difficult to decide of which color to get but went for red to start off with. Might go back for the volts and blues in a couple of days.. I went TTS and they fit great. I tried going down .5 but felt too tight, as I got a wide foot..

Picked up FKT Volts today. Red, Blue or whites up next. I wish they all had the black contrast on the inner shoe like the volts

got my volt trainers in today in 8.5 (my true size) and 8. the size 8 pair definitely feels much better. going with my true size left too much room length-wise.

my ndc package came in today...i have to say the blue glow/volts are amazing, my favorite pair.
they are a little long, but the width is good so i'm glad i went tts

This looks like my pick-ups for July. 4 pairs of Flyknit's and The same color-way of the Powerlines. Nice photos everyone! The more photos I see of the Red and the Blue color-ways the more I want a pair.

I went back into my local Nike outlet and damn near every single employee came up and asked me about the Volt Flyknit Trainers I was wearing. Most had little or no knowledge of the shoe or where to get it. The employee that was helping me was laughing so hard that every few minutes a different coworker or his was walking up asking questions.

070? Do you mean 700? Did you have them shipped to you or your local FNL?
BTW that Hurricane Vapor Jacket KD and LBJ have on looks dope! I just wish they had side pockets...
Yes sir, my bad color code is 700, I'm glad I did 2 seperate transactions on these since I think the blk/wht (010) will probably won't be fulfilled. I had these sent to the store, kinda funny how the store manager told me " he wanted to see what these shoes where all about". Any thoughts on speckling the Flyknits?!

I seen the reds today in store and they are lighter then any shoe I own... it is crazy what nike has done with the flyknit tech

but anyway..

Does anybody know where I can grab a pair of the volt trainers sz 9??? nobody around me seems to have them. Would be hugely appreciated!!! thanks!!!

You need to branch out more then. I own at least 4 different pairs of shoes that are substantially lighter than the Flyknit Racer.

So I talked to my boy at FNL, he thinks they will be hitting stores next week as he's been billed for 6 color ways of the trainers for his next shipment. He will be receiving the following. This FNL is a premier Nike running store so I am not sure everyone is getting them

010 - white/black
100 - black silver
440 - blue glow black
618 - orange red
700 - volt
880 - total orange black

I'm gonna wait till they get in to try them on. No sign of the racers tho

Thank you. It looks very much like the second one you linked, only with black and volt and obviously olympic patches. I would like the black and volt or darker colors, but olympic patches arent essential. Let's hope it pops up. The medal stand one is sick, but hard for me to justify that purchase given what else you could get that would be superior in terms of protection and durability for all season- cold season. ( see patagonia, cloudveil, arcteryx, etc...)

picked up a pair of volt racers at my local nikestore yesterday. the trainers are a tad more comfortable than the racers, however, the racer aesthetically look better.

as far as sizing is concerned all my runners are a 10.5 and these were tts. HOWEVER, you cannot wear the laces loose in these and expect them to stay on your foot. if thats what you are trying to do I would def go down .5 size.

The second one is SUPER SUPER LIGHT/THIN. One major flaw to it is... it doesn't have any side pockets, it only has one on the back. Though I've been wanting the Wolf Grey cw for a while now, I just can't bring myself to spend more than $60 for it. :wow:

never fails, something gets into the spotlight and all the negative nancys feel the need to come out. to those complaining about the fit it sounds like you just purchased these blindly without much thought. these were made strictly for running. you lace your shoes loose? to bad you need to tie these like an adult. you have fat feet? your probably not a runner anyways so why are you buying them. you like roshes better? stay in that thread. you feel the need to pop your tongue? go be a DJ...

my point is these werent made for everybody so if you arent part of the target market then im sorry these probably arent for you. its not nikes fault you cannot pull these off casually because nike did not intend them for casual wear. you want a shoe that was made for everybody and their brother then again i will point you to the roshe thread...

Found some good information from my Nike Rep. here are some of the possible Spring 2013 colorways.  He said these should drop 12/18/12.  Keep you posted on any more news I get.

Wow, judgmental much?  I'm one of the people that complained about the sizing.  I planned on running in these and fully realize that running sneakers are meant to fit snug and obviously need to be laced.  My point was that I could not comfortably lace them, I don't have that problem with Asics that are far superior running shoes IMO. I'm far from overweight but I do have a wide foot, thankfully most brands that are for running do come in widths.  If you're reading that the consensus seems to be that they fit large (suggested that it is due to the thinness of the material), you wouldn't think you have to size up, right?  Of course, with Nike, you never know and it's obvious they have no problem providing as little information about a sneaker if it creates mystique and drives up demand because of how innovative it is.

If you don't see any issue with consistency in Nike's sizing than you're absolutely blind to the brand, I hope you at least work for them but have some significant financial investment in the company.  That's the only reason I can see you getting so defensive over this kind of issue.

I find it funny that you mention that Nike did not intend these for casual wear yet provided them for all of their athletes to be worn on the medal podium and around the Olympics.  But that's because they're athletes and they're running everywhere...

ofcourse they gave them to all the athletes, like you said, at this point they are hyping them up and what better way to do it than have the olympic athletes wearing them everywhere.

nike didnt put a gun to your head and make you buy them and they certainly didnt force you to purchase them without trying them on first. if you dont like them then send them back but its still not nikes problem that they didnt work for YOU...

Trainers or Racers? Seem like trainer colors but not too sure.

When it comes down to it, it's really not a big deal to me.  I can easily find sneakers that will perform better and I will return the ones I received.  I even offered to sell my pairs that didn't fit without profit to someone in this thread who didn't know if he could get them otherwise because maybe they'd suit him better.  Should I have asked what his intended use was first and expected that he find a way to try them on?

I was looking forward to new technology...am I not allowed to be critical of Nike's inconsistent sizing?  It's just funny how defensive YOU got over a product that, unless you have some stake in the company, has no bearing on your life...to the point where you made it personal.  None of it applies to me so I'm not personally offended, it just found your response to be absurd.
