I love stumptown. Lots of local spots back home are always stocked with their product. Ethiopian beans are always good money, but you can't really go wrong with any of their coffee

Anyone ever strain cold brewed coffee through a chemex filter? I broke my French press that I normally make it on. Would the filter get clogged??

I'm brewing using a Kalita Wave pour over. Bean rotation is Parlor, Heart, and Counter Culture.

YO! What's the best flavor/brand of K-cups? I'm using the donut shop cups from Costco...I love them but I want to try something else.

Probably not for you since you like Donut Shop which is a lighter roast, but Jet Fuel is delicious

Scrolling through this thread I remembered my drink when I worked at Starbucks....
Iced 6 shot venti Iced coffee. I drank that just about every day for years. I don't know how I'm still alive... lol.

Anyone know where to cop nesspresso pods on the cheap? They're so damn expensive, but they taste better than kcups imo.

Drink two cups when I work

12 hour shifts are a *****

Lately I've taken vitamin b12 and drink 1 cup instead

I'm off that ****...

About to be three months free soon. I'm at work going off of natural energy, and a few months back I would have been on my third cup by now.

Some people can drink in moderation, and they claim to be fine off of three cups, but I just can't moderate my coffee drinking. I ended up drinking a pot a day to myself by the time 12 rolled around.

I feel way better too. I'm not as angry as I use to be, and I don't miss the anxious feeling it used to give me.

I know exactly what you mean. Because you're speeding throughout the day, and eventually need to chill out. So most people go for a drink after work to calm down. Some may choose sleeping pills, but they always leave me feeling groggy the next day.

I couldn't keep going with my coffee and tree habit. I had to pick one - so I chose trees...

If you have a chemex and some time, you could try this:

or if you have any kind of mason jar or container:

I wanted to start experimenting with methods for iced coffee as well with summer around the corner

2-3 a day for me. I've conditioned mysef to expect coffee after a meal to help combat the itis.

I did something similar to this in college.

Ground coffee + water + fridge overnight and you'd have your concentrate. Add some ice, little milk, dilute it with whatever, whatever you want. I also use my Aeropress and that seems to work pretty well. Just brew it a little stronger and brew it directly over the ice and you're good.
