OFFICIAL: Air Trainer 1 Mid Premium aka "Chlorophylls"... paging Wallyhop....

Pretty much.  Seems like he doesn't care much for the shoe as well as tennis.

check your local outlet/factory store, the puerto ricos arrived by me and priced at $49.99.

I had all six Grand Slam CWs in cart (size 14...manually, which was...unexpected) and obviously had a reality check: "Dude...you can't spend $900 on Air Trainer 1s."

I chose the all-Chlorophyll CW. Totally green premium leather shoe? I'm there.

Blacks and reds make zero sense. Why not something for the Australian Open?

The narrative Nike put forth was each represented the courts: grass (Wimbeldon), clay (French open) and hard courts (US Open). The Australian open is hard court so it would 'compete' with US open....of course given the black/reds iteration Nike's well crafted narrative goes out the window.

The hardcourts at the Australian open and U.S. open are different colors though so they could have gone that route.

They managed to do a Australian open with the Air Tech Challenge 2 so to me it was just laziness on Nike/fragments part

^ It sure felt like it... unless it was some late-effort (in putting this AT1-Nike Court pack together) in which they couldn't get an AO version out in time.

All in all, it just felt a bit half-aced.  There are 4 slams, but only packs for 3 of them.  Then there was the 2-color blocking on 5 of the 6 pairs, with that 6th pair utilizing the traditional blocking.  I dunno.  Just felt like it could have been done a bit better.  Perhaps having 1 pair using the traditional blocking but with colors of each respective grand slam... then having the other pair using the 2-color blocking?  Oh well.

At that price I would not hesitate. I had them when they first released but had to send them back as the FO baroque so and Wimbledon whites dropped the same time and couldn't justify three pairs of AT1s at once. But if they reduce to that in the UK will definitely get again as the materials are really good.

When did Nike start using USPS to ship packages? I just ordered the all black colorway from Nike yesterday and I should expect to receive it on Sept 12 from USPS.

I ordered the red ones last night.  They already shipped it out today.  Should be here on Monday.

USPS or UPS? I've never seen em use the post office.

Probably a "mail innovations" package. This is where the package departs ups and is handed off to usps for delivery. FedEx has a similar program as well. Are you in a rural area that might not see daily ups delivery?

I get UPS deliveries all the time. In fact I just got one yesterday from Nike for the suede air trainer court 1s. I'm going to contact them and ask why USPS and why now.

I must be off my game. When did the white/navy corduroys release stateside? Now I need those too. The all tan suedes online look solid too.

They haven't released in US as far as I know. I think SNS had them below retail with a code posted in here but I think those are better than any of the Frag cws.
Champs has them online, that's why I asked. No one seems to have stated they picked them up. $ 98 with coupon code. Add in 5% off with ebates, and it's a great value. Really surprised I didn't see this posted in here some 3 weeks back when those sneakersteal type places posted about it. I didn't see it until this week. Unless I overlooked a post about it.

edit:

totally missed a post by vig09 some 3 weeks back. Thanks man. You've helped me spend hundreds these past few years.. I just didnt see many photos of them posted etc. I guess the frag releases overtook this thread. And the great thing about trainers. I can be three weeks late to the party and stuff is still available, in my 1/2 size mind you.

White chino rust ogish's being delivered tomorrow. In depth impressions to follow. I have high hopes
