Acura ILX = 2016 Refresh = Cheaper TSX Replacement Starts at $27,900

If I seen this on the road I would probably think it was a rebadged look a like. Shame on Acura for this pos.

that thing is terrible

Starts at $26,795 but who pays sticker? Probably can get this at around $24k with time.

I love Acuras but not a fan of entry level luxury. I think if you can't afford a TL or GS then just settle for an Accord or Camry.

I think the percentage of people cross shopping the Mustang/Camaro and the ILX is approximately zero. Completely different demographics.

Disagree. The IS is a rwd V6, no car in the Toyota line-up has rwd iirc.
I really don't know why the TSX still has a 4cyl and fwd. EVen Infiniti's G25 is a rwd V6.

I agree. the Optima is underrated.  It is way better designed than this car. This cars front reminds me so much of a camry.

Interesting

Acura is dispatching the antiquated pairing of the base 2.0-liter four-cylinder and five-speed automatic for 2016, and simply slotting in the standard powertrain of the TLX. The 2.4-liter four-cylinder produces 201 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque, with peak output arriving at 3,600 rpm. The ILX also benefits from the same eight-speed, dual-clutch transmission found in the TLX.

Powertrain tweaks aside, Acura has issued a pretty handsome freshening for 2016. The ILX was always a handsome offering, but the new front and rear clips are improvements. Acura's love-it-or-hate-it JewelEye headlights have been grafted onto the ILX, while the grille, a traditional weak point for the brand, is perhaps one of the best we've seen out of the company in several years. The rear taillights also received some attention, although it was the back bumper that saw the biggest update, with the lower section getting a sportier look.

Might as well get a mazda 3 .. This **** is horrible and people are calling it luxury. LoL

New update is definitely a huge improvement this car. Starts at $27,900.

Interior still has a very Hinda-ish feel but the dual screen is a nice touch.

Got to say that I am curious what happened to Acura.

Outside of the new NSX, the brand seemingly has fallen off? Could have sworn just a year or two ago, outside of the hemi and m3, NTs go to car recomendation was the TSX and TL.

Their offering isn't really so bad now, the ILX has 200hp and starts at ~$27k, TLX (TL replacement?) starts at ~$31k for the I4 and $35k for a 290hp V6.

Even the new facelifted RDX looks good and starts at ~$35k.

Simple last year TL was OK but the 3rd Gen was/is a classic.

This BS TLX is for the birds. I rather take a use 07/08 Type S than this. Yes this is faster and more advance but I take the 3rd look better. 4th was cool because with some nice wheel it made the car look super aggressive and it was beyond its time.

They try to distinguish between the ILX TLX and RL .. The TSX was just getting on the way frankly.

I think it's a bit bigger than the A3 (starts at $30k) and about the same size as the CLA (starts at $31k) but the ILX might actually be bigger inside than the CLA because of the MBs fastback design.

ILX refresh is another mess, reviews are just as bad as the 1st one

I don't understand how they could F this up twice

just bring the damn Integra/RSX back already
