The other week, there was a pretty good thread about peoples worst purchases lately.
I liked it, so I thought of course why not ask for the opposite?

What are some of the best things you have bought the last few weeks, months, or years that still pay off TODAY.

I'm talking about things that have continued to be useful as ever or things that are just extremely fun even through time.

For me, I would say recently that FIFA 12 has been the only video game that has been play consistently. MW3 has been shelved pretty much, but fifa is always fun to me so it is appreciated.

-Another thing that is EXTREMELY appreciated is Amazon Prime. I couldnt be happier with that purchase. I have made a lot of purchases recently, and that free 2 day shipping is so quick and reliable. Well worth the money.

Also,

Ice cold water when i wake up in the middle of the night thirsty. Hot coffee on cold days when im in the middle of a work shift.

Works like a charm, very secure as well. Truly worth every penny. I recommend you guys give this a shot if you are looking for such an item.

Share some of your best purchases NT. Feel free to recommend some cool useful stuff.

-the new iPad.....so refreshing after using the slow OG joint
-Marpac Sleepmate 980A (Google it)....has made my 1-year old sleep soundly thru the night
-Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires for the ride....quietest, smoothest ride ever. I had no clue how awful our old tires were.
-massive shrimp cocktail from Costco for lunch. So cheap yet so delicious.

Ive hardly bought anything other than food and drink the past 4 months. I got 2 pairs of sunglasses tho a while back that are pretty cool

I'd say some cargos I bought from American Eagle, out of the Playoff 12's, Jordan shorts, & Tee to match I bought all in the same day I'd say those were my best purchase. Last forever, and never fade. 2nd brand new pair I've bought in a month!

throw your frozen berries with a little cream and sweetener

and you got a nice ice cream substitute

Clothes. Some pants from Urban Outfitters, and a dress shirt from Nordstrom Rack.
'Kill for Love' by Chromatics. Really one of the best albums of the year thus far.

Garnier Fructis Surf Hair Fiber. I've tried moving on to other products to see what else is out there but I just keep coming back to it. I have yet to try American Crew Pomade though. Anybody know how that is?

Tonight I bought a lot of classical music off Amazon. Compilation albums that go for 1.99 or 2.99 for 100 songs and .99 for 25 songs.

Links, if possible? I made a note to myself earlier this week to listen to more classical music. I bought a couple compilation CDs off Amazon last year which was really awesome.
And to the thread, my phone. It's a Blackberry 9700, so ancient and outdated by today's standards, but it's still incredible. I would really like a newer, more powerful, and better phone, but my old one is still awesome. I bought it a few years ago but it's still reliable, great call quality, read Niketalk, news, maps, I have all my Google RSS feeds, keep up with Twitter, sports scores, e-mail, great battery life, etc. It's easy to always complain about technology or our things.. I'd love a new computer too, but I can still appreciate how awesome even "out-dated" technology is nowadays.

Amazon product ASIN B005VZRBR4

That should get you started. Just look around the classical department in the Amazon MP3 store.
