Black guy hair cuts

I use tend skin and rub some hydrocortisone cream after shaving (electric). If there are ingrown hairs, I just use a tweezer to pick them out.

Haven't had any ingrown hairs since I switched from traditional razor to a T-liner. Gonna pick up one of those Wahl foil shavers soon since I chipped the blade on my T-liners on accident

Yeah I use a T outliner, but I use the Wahl Super Close 5 Star blah blah blah shaver afterwards.

It gets the really good close shave and is supposed to be bump free :rolleyes

^^ that wahl trimmer might be too close of a shave for you. If it's irritating you that bad I'd just stick with the t outliner

YO... this is a PSA.

Them Twist Sponges do wonders! Been rocking w/ one for the last few weeks or so... and it WORKS.

If your Sponge is crumbling or cracking up... it's getting too wet. I use the Shea Butter, lightly and twist away on a daily basis. No Issues.

S/O to @AZwildcats
for putting me on game for the Lowski. Less than $5 shipped to the crib... will def. be copping another soon for backup.

Cost doesn't equal Quality w/ these joints.:pimp:
Which sponge did you buy?

I dont like to use gel personally. I use Cantu Curling Cream. It gets the job done.
Yea, Gel is a NEVER. I'm either natural Shea Butter or Curling Butters. I try not to go hard w/ chemicals in my hair.

Gel can possibly have more hold, but it's not good for your hair overtime bc it's not letting it breathe. Keep it Simple.

Get a new t outliner blade. And I only use the foil shaver maybe twice a week at most. You have to use a really light touch, no pressure. Rest it on your thumb, and basically only use other fingers to keep it from falling. Anything should be able to knock it out of your hand.

Yeah thats what I'm thinking. My skin might just be too sensitive.

But damn it gets a nice close shave. Way better than a blade. Tried a regular razor back in college, **** tore my face up  Had mad bumps by the end of the week :smh:

Hmm. Im going to give it another go next time I shave. Now that you mention it, I may be applying too much pressure.

I don't have any bumps but what do you guys use to get rid of the dark spots that came from previous bumps to get the skin tone back to normal?  If possible, I'd prefer a liquid, than a gel/cream.  I currently have a beard and using a gel/cream now would just get messy.

Same here. I hesitant because I don't usually shave. I either grow my beard out thick or I keep it trimmed to just above a stubble. Razor bumps haven't been an issue for me though. Bevel just seems like a legit product.

I remember reading about Bevel and how the creator turned down a huge buyout in order to keep the company black owned. I'm not sure how credible the sources were that I read, but the whole concept is cool regardless.

Yep. Tristian Walker's the creator of the product. Gillette was trying to buy them out for a reported $500 million. :smokin

It was $5 Million... Still at the end of the day, to turn that down takes guts.:pimp:

If it really was $5 million, I feel like that's a little insulting coming from Gillette. Glad he did turn that down, if true.

Actually, I could be wrong! Just looked it up again and I saw somebody say a Half Billion... but last week, I read $5M. If we're talking about a realistic offer, although a bit low, it sounds like $5M would be much closer to something actually legit.

But IDK... either way, MAJOR!

He was on the Tax Season podcast a few weeks ago and claimed it to be $500 mill. $5 million would be a hell of an under sale based on what I know about the product. I could be wrong, but that's what dude said.
