So true! It's one of the best releases in years and the quality of the shoe is great as well! So happy. My second IV's after the OG   99cements.
Oi What's with the *****ing mate! Got OG iv's when I was at school. In '99 I was already at uni half way through my degree... so watch it!

I did have OG cements mate! Stop the *****ing and the disbelieving it's lower grade persona

I got my first cements in '90 when I was still at school. I hated the living #%+% out of them cause the soles were too flat and they worn off too fast. Balling in concrete courts was like ice skating in them. Shhh now old vet! You are not the only one around here

Apparently some stores are receiving late shipments, no help to me though cause no stores near me got them.

I'm hoping for a restock/canceled orders online.

That's what happens.  When it's time for folks to return the favor, it becomes a ghost town.  Sometimes if you're gonna hold people down you have to tell yourself that you're doing it just to be helpful, not to get something out of it because if you're doing it for the latter then you're doing it for the wrong reason.  Not only that, but you'll wind up setting yourself up for a letdown when people don't return the favor.  Sometimes you get lucky and you wind up with connects on a message board.  Not always the case.  Which is why relying on the next man has to be your last resort.

JEALOUSY IS SO RAMPANT THROUGHOUT THE JORDAN FORUM AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE UNTIL PEOPLE LEARN TO JUST MOVE ON IF THEY MISS OR CAN'T COP A RELEASE. IF YOU AREN'T SMART ENOUGH TO MAKE RESELLERS SIT ON STOCK BY PASSING THEN YOU DESERVE TO GET RAPED.

IF YOU ARE PLAYING THE RETAIL GAME THEN YOU WIN OR LOSE SOME. JORDAN BRAND WILL MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO FAIL BECAUSE DEMAND OUTPACES STOCK. FUNNY THING IS, THESE SHOES WILL PROBABLY BE BACK OUT IN 2 YEARS.

IF YOU PLAYING THE RESELL GAME THEN YOU WIN EVERY TIME DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH YOU ARE WILLING TO SPEND.

I'VE BEEN BURNED BY RESELLERS BEFORE AND I'VE DONE THE BURNING. JUST SO HAPPENS FOR THIS RELEASE, I DID THE BURNING, BUT FOR THE YEEZY RELEASE I'LL GET BURNED. JUST HOW IT WORKS.

I JUST FIND IT FUNNY HOW PEOPLE CRY ABOUT RESELLERS BUT THEN THOSE SAME PEOPLE WHEN THEY ARE ABOUT TO SELL SOME OF THEIR COLLECTION, THEY NEVER CHARGE RETAIL. I BET I CAN SEARCH THE BUY/SELL FORUM AND FIND CURRENT/OLD LISTINGS FROM SOME OF THE SAME DUDES CRYING IN THIS THREAD WHO SOLD SHOES FROM THEIR COLLECTION ABOVE RETAIL. YOU HATE RESELLERS? HOW ABOUT YOU SELL ME THOSE OG CONCORDS FOR THE BOX PRICE? NO? DIDN'T THINK SO.

Case in point.  I know we notice shoes.  We're on a shoe forum so we notice shoes.  To me, there seems to be a discrepancy between the effort it takes to obtain Jordans and the amount you see people wearing on the street.  It seems like everyone and their mother wants Jordans and this is reflected in how hard it is to purchase them on release date.  But then you look around, and I don't see a ton of people wearing Jordans where I'm at.  I walk through the mall and kids don't have Jordans on.  Where are they going?  It's grandma and grandpa buying them up and throwing them on Ebay, CL..etc....and the cycle continues

I don't have any shoes on sale in my sig so you're wrong, if I order a shoe and end up not liking them I send them back or let someone have them for retail. I've sold Space Jams and Lebron South Beaches for under $220 and I priced them for that much to take care of the Ebay fees and Shipping, I just don't believe in raping people who just want to own a pair of shoes, it's not like it'll extend their life or make them richer so I don't see why I should charge them ridiculous money.

Sir, when I said everyone I didn't literally mean everyone.  I applaud you for not raping your fellow NTers who genuinely have an interest in the shoe.  That is your right.  Just as it is the right of anyone who buys a product to sell said product if someone is willing to pay an agreed upon price.  Next time we have a release thread, look at people's signatures.  I won't say everyone, but there is a large percentage of people, or shall I say a greater percentage of people than before who advertise shoes in their sigs to sell.  No hate.  Like I said, I appreciate the ability to bargain for a shoe.  I like knowing the fact that I can get a shoe at a later date if I so choose.  I've been on this board a long time and it definitely has changed.  People would get excoriated if anyone thought they were a "reseller".  But, times have changed and it's more accepted around here.  No judgment, just making an observation.

Dont know about you fellas, but looking at my two pairs, I wore my size 10 today, damn they are more comfortable then the recent white cement releases but I think that has to do with the suede. What is weird, is that my air bubbles on both my pairs arent as deep as the cements nor my old retros from 2006, anyone else notice the bubble doesnt go in as far? just wondering (my pairs arent early release or fake, ones from footlocker the other finishline in hand). Thanks

Sadly, this community doesnt know anything about returning favors. I sold a guy on here Galaxy Flight Ones for retail plus shipping and when it came time for him to return the favor (sell my Big Bangs for retail plus shipping), he said he couldnt and decided to sell them to someone else for 400.
Its sad when sneaker fanatics put the value of a dollar over common courtesy.

wow that sucks. helped someone out with playoffs for 190 shipped. I paid 180 because of tax and shipping so I added 10 to ship them out. I just need one friggin pair of these cavs so I can wear them. I find it amazing that all these heads with pairs on pairs on pairs cant afford to help a guy out who wants the shoes for their purpose.

what size you need? I'll try my best to help you out. I don't have extras but I do have alot of possible places that I can look

So damn glad I've never bought anything from a reseller, never sold anything, and never plan on selling. I either cop 1 pair on release day or move onto the next one. Simple as that.

Exactly.  When I go out of my way to do a favor for someone I do make sure to add a bit for the time I'm taking out of my day admittedly.  I moved a pair of Cavs IVs to a NTer for $205 shipped.  People want to complain and moan, get on their high horses about what the game has become, how about taking an active role in trying to change it or just stop complaining. Therein lies the problem.  Let's ask for handouts but be shocked when someone has the nerve to ask for a favor in return.  If I can pass on my good fortune with minimal effort then that's fine by me because I'm not starving.  Unfortunately you have a lot of ungrateful people out there which is why as I stated before, never rely on the next man to do your work for you.  The current state of this culture is what it is.  People need to stop being salty and adjust accordingly.

Man, the JB board is Bananas. This thread is before rd active. I remember a time when threads died off after rd.

Do they lock threads anymore?

Threads are clearly becoming low key selling forums after RD.
