What song are you listening to right now?

Christian Scott - Van Goch (interlude).

Songs my iPhone just played while in shuffle mode.

Sometimes you just wish a song was longer...

Blood Orange - Desiree

Dev sounds like a better version of Ready For The World (kinda sorta). Dude is so talented.

Action Bronson - Terry

Robert Glasper - One For 'Grew

Beastie Boys - Shake Your Rump

Paul's Boutique is a classic album regardless of genre. RIP MCA. First concert I ever went to (Run DMC with them opening). Seen them live about 7-8 times over the years...

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Knock Me Down

 I remember first seeing them on the Vision Streetwear Tour... I think that was '89....

Bad Brains - Soul Craft & Rise

2 more...

I see HR around Baltimore every once in a while... Another band I've seen several times back in the day.... DC Armory like '88 I think.... Used to eff ish up to this song...

The BB faithful didn't like Rise because of it not having HR & his brother Earl, but the album is dope...

Don't have a problem with Big Sean, but continuing the theme from Wiz Khalifa's "The Plan", wanted this just instrumental and hook and found it.

Dope to hear some of the intricacies in the production without the vocals. Plus sometimes I want my own thoughts over my theme music

Joey Alexander - City Lights.

Some jazz for a dreary/rainy Saturday afternoon watching real football (soccer Leverkusen vs Dortmund) on the tele.

Hard to believe this kid is 13 years old, his phrasing on the piano is crazy for someone so young... His ad-libs, the lyricism in his playing, I mean he just gets it - has it... :smh: :smokin

Soil & Pimp Sessions - Summer Godess

These songs came on & had to repeat them 3 times each...

Sleepwalker - Afloat & Wind (ft. Yakimi Nagano)

She is such a versatile singer. She can fit her stuff with Little Dragon, stuff with the Gorillaz, & this jazz sound... :smokin

Esperanza Spaulding & Gretchen Parlato - Inutil Paisagem

Beautiful interpretation of the Antonio Carlos Jobim classic.

Gary Clark Jr. - There's a Man Down There & Whole Lotta Lovin' (live at TC's Lounge)

Jeez I wish this young fella recorded the essence captured in this live performance from right before he got big. What he's recorded since sounds way to flossy & polished... This kid is so talented but he's recordings suck.
