That's what I thought he'd do the first time I watched it. That would've been super foul.

Walt and Marie putting Holly on her side in case she spit up.:frown:

I thought that at first.

But as the series developed I realized it was just another way for Walt to have power.

He holds the none and Jesse has to play nice.

Even if he gives back the money Jesse will forever be in his debt for making sure the deal goes through.

Power moves.
he could have still had power over jessie due to the guilt of losing everything.

but he would have been better off cutting things off with jess before he got into business with gus, everything that caused his relationship with gus to go south was jessie's doing

while walt is the "bad guy" this show does a good job of making every character other than walt (and a few others) unlikable

from ted to walt jr to the minion that gus kills, its just like the moment you see them on screen you already hate them

The upsides to binge watching is no commercials, no pop up ads, no AMC logo and just being in control. I watched the whole series (except the last 2 episodes) in 3 weeks on netflix and it was like watching one long incredible movie. Especially since no time passes season to season. The first 4 seasons literally encompassed just one year. Plus there was several times I didnt hear something and had the ability to rewind.

But now that its ending I appreciate those 3 weeks so much. Jealous of anyone who hasnt watched the show (nor had it spoiled)

Maybe they've improved? There was some time between meeting Lydia and when we see Jesse, that's why he got ice cream.
