Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

Any predictions of what will happen in the final 8?

No spoilers just predictions.

My predictions are always changing.

I hope nothing happens to Jesse though. I really want to see him at peace by the end of the series.

I'm predicting something BIG happens in the middle of the season that's used as a catalyst for Hank to "Break Bad".
Regarding the last episode being named Felina though..
Just speculation...

Someone on reddit pointed out the lyrics of Marty Robbin's "El Paso" which is mostly about a women named Felina. The first half of the song really has no correlation to the show but the second half is pretty damn interesting.

Out in the West Texas town of El Paso
I fell in love with a Mexican girl
Night-time would find me in Rosa's cantina
Music would play and Felina would whirl

Blacker than night were the eyes of Felina
Wicked and evil while casting a spell
My love was deep for this Mexican maiden
I was in love but in vain, I could tell

]One night a wild young cowboy came in
Wild as the West Texas wind
Dashing and daring
A drink he was sharing
With wicked Felina
The girl that I loved

So in anger I
Challenged his right for the love of this maiden
Down went his hand for the gun that he wore
My challenge was answered in less than a heart-beat
The handsome young stranger lay dead on the floor

Just for a moment I stood there in silence
Shocked by the foul evil deed I had done
Many thoughts raced through my mind as I stood there
I had but one chance and that was to run

Out through the back door of Rosa's I ran
Out where the horses were tied
I caught a good one
It looked like it could run
Up on its back
And away I did ride

Just as fast as I
Could from the West Texas town of El Paso
Out to the bad-lands of New Mexico

Back in El Paso my life would be worthless

Everything's gone in lifenothing is left
It's been so long since I've seen the young maiden
My love is stronger than my fear of death

I saddled up and away I did go
Riding alone in the dark
Maybe tomorrow
A bullet may find me
Tonight nothing's worse than this
Pain in my heart

And at last here I
Am on the hill overlooking El Paso
I can see Rosa's cantina below
My love is strong and it pushes me onward
Down off the hill to Felina I go

Off to my right I see five mounted cowboys
Off to my left ride a dozen or more
Shouting and shooting I can't let them catch me
I have to make it to Rosa's back door

Something is dreadfully wrong for I feel
A deep burning pain in my side
Though I am trying
To stay in the saddle
I'm getting weary
Unable to ride

But my love for
Felina is strong and I rise where I've fallen
Though I am weary I can't stop to rest
I see the white puff of smoke from the rifle
I feel the bullet go deep in my chest

From out of nowhere Felina has found me
Kissing my cheek as she kneels by my side
Cradled by two loving arms that I'll die for
One little kiss and Felina, good-bye

Maybe one big giant metaphor or a coincidence? DOUBT IT
Just some fun speculation though.

I've been predicting a Godfather II ending for a little while now.

Walt "wins" and has his empire, but he's got no family, friends, and he's just alone. He doesn't kill his family, but they're gone for good and he doesn't care. Probably kills Jesse, though.

I agree about the spoiler thing, but that Gus situation was funny. After the picture was posted I replied saying it was so stupid that there was no way it could turn out like that. Boy was I wrong .

I was the same. I was like c'mon that's too gory. No way they air that. I thought it was so fake. Then I saw it :smh: Once I saw him in the same suit I was nervous

"box cutter" made him a totally different person
S1- Scared ****-less
S2- Pissed my pants scared
S3- Desperately scared
S4- "I'm ready to die.... But you won't kill me."
S5- "***** please..... I'm all you got."

Apologies if already posted:

'Mythbusters' tests 'Breaking Bad' myths, first trailer -- EXCLUSIVE

First, you get Adam Savage dressed as Heisenberg. And then it only gets better.
Below is a first look at Mythbusters taking on AMC’s Breaking Bad. The long-running Discovery Channel series will put some plot mechanics from acclaimed drama to the test, along with some help from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and star Aaron Paul.
Myths include whether you can really dissolve a body — and your tub and bathroom floor — with hydrofluoric acid, and if a packet of mercury fulminate crystals can be used as grenade to blow up a room (the latter requires the creation of a bomb-throwing robot).
This clip just screened during the Mythbusters panel at Comic-Con, but you don’t need to stand in line for hours to watch it. This Mythbusters episode airs Aug 12, the day after Breaking Bad returns for its final batch of episodes Aug. 11.

To everybody and anybody: please, PLEASE refrain from posting any spoilers of any kind. Want to go into the final eps completely fresh.

Any predictions of what will happen in the final 8?

No spoilers just predictions.

I think skylar and the kids went to hanks
when walt first tells hank he has cancer, hank straight up says:
"no matter what happens, i will take care of your family, no matter what."

Hank might lose his job and go rogue
in season 2 or maybe season 3 after walt tells skyler that he manufactures meth, Walt goes and tells saul and admits he's scared she might turn him in. Then saul goes on some big spill about how she will get in trouble too and how Hank would be fired for walt being under his nose the entire time and not doing anything, which makes ALOT of sense since throughout the series hank has literally been on the verge of catching walt and even gave up that promotion in el paso because the "blue stuff" came back...to some in the DEA it might have looked like Hank was playing a part

Gomey works for someone other than the DEA
Gomey has alway been pushing hank in the opposite direction of the heisenberg case. Maybe he's salemenca's inside guy or something(i know i'm reaching) Whoever is paying Gomey i think they got him young kinda like how jack got matt damon in the departed.

This show cannot end WITHOUT a flashback scene of Walt teaching Jesse in highschool, it would be nice if that was the cold open for the final episode as well. I'm pretty much expecting that and am surprised it hasn't been included atleast once.
I mean the scene could end with Jesse making some quip that gets the class laughin at walt(who would be his season 1 nerdy self) and walt could be like
"jesse pinkman where do you see youself in 10 years, because with that attitude you won't be going anywhere."
jesse could be like "Gee i dunno Mr. white, maybe someday i'll be working with you....yo"

*cue title credits*

^^ I don't think Gomie is working for someone else. I feel like he is just a cop playing the part of "devil's advocate" with Hank's reasoning.

I've said it time and time again but why do we need a flash back scene of Jesse in Walt's classroom this late into the series?
I feel like the time to have done it has passed. Should of been a first season opening sequence, if you ask me.

But who knows? /kanyeshurg

^^^ It would just show how far the characters have come, not just walt but jesse as well, they have grown so much that it would be nice to get one last glimpse of what they used to be like. I mean to each his own, i thought everyone that watched this show would be open for that. The scene would add to the many classic scenes the show already has and none of the flashbacks they have shown(gray matters, buying that house) really didn't hold any weight to me at all.

prediction

walt comes out of a coma in the hospital from his cancer. it was all a dream. on the way home he sees jesse in a corner making a drug deal. walt tells skyler to stop the car. he gets off approaches jesse and says 'i have a business proposition for you'.

prediction

hank with the dea have walt surrounded at saul's place. skyler, walt jr, and marie are outside watching the ordeal. they order him to surrender. he tries to make a run for it and get sniped in the head. the screen goes blank. walt is in the hospital barely breathing. his cancer has over taken his body and caused him to make up the whole thing in his mind. he takes his last breath and flat lines. his family, hank, and marie are in the room crying.

prediction

jesse finds out that walt used ricin on the kid. jesse want to kill walt. however he cant because of his family. jessee and walt are cornered on a bad deal with the dea. hank takes a shot at walt but jessie jumps infront of him to take the bullet. the bullet pierces his heart. in his last moments jesse tells walt that he forgives him and that in a weird way he saw him as a father. walt in anger reaches for his gun and is sprayed with bullets.

 forced?!

Easily one of the best opening scenes next to Brother Mouzone and Omar's opening scene from the wire

nah the say my name was the most forced thing i ever saw...they shouldve stopped it after the classic coke line

speaking of during my rewatch.. it was funny as hell when he broke the glass on the former car wash owners 1st dollar & used in the coke machine for a can pop

I saw it as half bad *** and cool and the other half showing how Walt is really feeling himself too much.
