Air Jordan XX8 aka 2013, new "Proplate Zoom" Technology OFFICIAL THREAD.

I really believe that Tinker made this shoe for himself rather than what would MJ wear if he was still playing. This shoe exudes Tinker's current frame of mind/personality and look at when he said he took influence from that nike combat boot. In the promo pics you can see dude is out there maybe even in a midlife crisis wearing a backpack and that hat
Did you not watch the video? When tinker said the first time the G.O.A.T seen the
Shoe instantly liked it. I really doubt Tinker would make sumtin for him and not MJ.

Good thing the height isn't knee high or we would have looked like this:

hey whatever marketing nike can get out of this if MJ really instantly liked it or not.

Why is Blake not wearing these? Are these shoes not compatible with big men or something? If they had Blake wearing these, his highlight dunks would be replayed over and over on TV with the XX8s getting much needed exposure to the public.

In reference to an earlier post, I think a lot of great Jordan's released after the XIIIs.

The XIV, XVI-XXI, XX3, and XX8 are all really nice, IMO. Really, two of my top five Jordan's, the XIXs and XXs, released after the XIIIs.

people mad cause they won't go with their jeans ?
REALLY ??
they are a BASKETBALL shoe
love the pages of pixs of shoes that WE WILL NEVER SEE
keep chasin rainbows
The casual wearers of Jordan's are JB's bread and butter, belee dat.

I think these are UNREAL!!!! Im so sick of the same garbage year after year! I love that they took a chance and went in a completely different direction!!!! Bout fricken time!!!! I have not bought a pair of Air Jordans since the XX3 (I did like the 2010, I just never got around to buying the) but these, I will be buying them! They push the envelope, they are ridiculous and I love it!!!

^ Agreed bro. 2010 was the last time Jordan put out a new shoe that was worthwhile and before that it had been awhile... I'm just happy it looks like JB is trying to step up their game a bit

Both of these quotes summarizes what I had in mind. Thanks guys

After the XIII's, I only liked the Last Shot XIV's...then, to me, only decent XVI is the Black/Red. After the XVI, don't really like anything until the XX3. Skip the garbage 2009, then I am cool with the 2010, 2011, and 2012.

^ nah nike is going to make some bs marketing explaining how the shroud can translate your game on the court and off. Then show some publicity shots of player A warming up in them on court then player A walking to the club in them. The gimmick will be called "the jordan translation of life on and off the court." "Do you understand?" "Get yours today!"

Im just putting it out there ALL of the AJs aftr 14 are ugly  im sure im not da onli one who feels dis way  JB is wasting money by makin mor AJs  he made it to 23  leav it alone  u guys are doin MORE than fine wit da retros of da first 14

Might be in the minority on this one, but I would wear these with the zipper up (clean, sharp look, looks better) on the court and with jeans. Zipper down the shoe just looks incomplete and zipper down with jeans, looks sloppy and like one is trying to hard.

On another note in regards to the colorway, Jordan started using this colorway (the volt went by another name though something green) on the Jordan 14 OG release back in 1999. Just throwing that out there for the folks that think Jordans only go up to Jordan 14 and think this is one of the first times JB is using the volt colorway.

Correction it was not something green, it was called "indiglo".

I think you might be thinking of "Altitude Green"

And that makes them not innovative. The XVI
Already did that with the shroud for offcourt
Look.
