Here's a look at their numbers during their first championship. I know Kobe hurt his ankle in game 2 of the finals against Pacers and did not play in game 3 (which Lakers lost). Also, Kareem wasn't present for game 6 of the finals against 76ers which Magic closed the deal anyways. I can't recall if anything happen in Jordan first championship (don't believe so) and same for Lebron (he did get cramps for a couple of mins of game 4.)
 
The stats fit the TV talk. In reality, those that watch basketball and know basketball will tell you the game back then and now has changed. It'll continuously change for obvious reasons.

LBJ's stats are amazing, and he earned it. I still dislike the guy.
 
Waiting for the 2nd and 3rd championships... if they happen. So these young kids can see Jordans averages (36 in '92 and 41 in '93).
 
What stands out to me in that "leaderboard" is: Why is Kobe on there?

3 Finals MVP's and one second banana.
Kobe didn't lead his team in 2000, can you post the numbers of the Finals MVP that year?

If it was Dwight who won yesterday, they'd probably put Shaq, Hakeem, or Duncan

LOL so i guess Magic was lying when he said Kobe is top 5 Lakers. So i guess Jerry West lied when he said Kobe is better than him as a Lakers lol

The Lakers dont win those titles w/o Fisher, Fox, Horry, or Shaw either.  The point you missed is Kobe did not lead his team to that title or any of the first three for that matter.  Put the real MVP SHAQ on that leaderboard.

There is an argument to be made for Kobe being top 5. I'll let a Lakers fan do though.
