I watch these shows before MNF typically but this the series finale bro... I can take away 45 minutes from the game (which will span over halftime as well) to watch the finale.

Homeland coming back tho!!!!! That I'll watch Monday.

You sure about that? I might not call it a significantly more for the series finale of a show like BB. I mean I watch football every week, but these aren't even rivalry teams, so why the big deal over Falcons and Pats like it is the must see game of the year or something?

I do not, but that doesn't change a damn thing. I've been stoked for many a show in the past that I've recorded. Breaking Bad would be no different. I'd be just fine watching it a few hours later. I'm also not on twitter or facebook so I have zero chance of running into a spoiler.

I rarely watch any shows when they air. Always sports, sports, sports. My friend looovvess Breaking Bad, but he DVR's and watches it later all the time.

There are other types of people in the world, CP.

Unless you think other people simply don't watch other shows... The fact that this has been discussed for a whole page in the NFL thread should tell you that it might just be different than other shows you've recorded in the past.

Nothing wrong with DVR shows and coming back to them, but to say you are going to skip a series finale (not season), for a football game, especially if it isn't one of your favorite teams or a playoff game/Superbowl/etc, and you get to watch the rest of the game once it goes off, just doesn't make sense.

Maybe since I don't care for the Falcons or Pats, my view is skewed on this though

Or did you DVR the last show of The Sopranos too?

And I'm no different than I have been in the past. I gather people love their Breaking Bad, bu that's still irrelevant to how I treat my priorities.

So sorry I don't watch it and that I say if I did, I'd still rather watch sports and record it.

Like I've mentioned before...I'm way more than a casual observer of sports and the definition sports fan doesn't describe me.

Watching all 5 seasons over the course of a month or something does not do it justice. Not even close. These last 8 weeks have been AGONIZING, this is not some regular "good" show.

I live and breathe for NFL Sunday's, have said as much many times on here, but come Monday morning, the first people I am looking for at the water cooler are Breaking folk. And we will be high as a kite I am sure.
