Trading one 30 year old QB for another isn't the best idea of it interferes with resigning the best defensive player on the planet. Best bet is cut ties with Schaub and foster, draft a qb and sign tate.

Meaning his bust factor is under reported because of ESPN's East Coast bias.

DMC is overshadowed by the Mark Sanchez debacles on the East.

Oh got it. You're right about that.

I remember these ESPN guys all said after McClain and McFadden that the Raiders were making great picks and had finally turned their drafting around. So called draft experts....

almost definitely would never happen, but man, would it be interesting. Tail end of Big Ben's career is gonna get railroaded in Pitt anyway.

I remember Todd McShay saying Jamarcus and Calvin both pulled the greatest workouts in draft history.

I'm like in the entire history of the NFL the two best workouts ever happened in the same year? A week apart? :lol:

Typical ESPN hype.

Well obviously they wouldn't want to do it if it interferes with resigning JJ. He's amazing. They need to do everything in their power to resign him. I was just throwing out what I heard.

But what's the difference in salary between Big Ben and Schaub? Does Ben really make that much more?

And is foster cut-able? What's his guaranteed money look like? Funny to even ask tho. He was the texans best player outside of watt on Sunday. He ran all over our D in the first half. Then Houston's play calling politely derailed him lol
 
Also, new to the thread. Love any NFL discussion (intelligent or not haha). So I didn't know about the previous Texans QB discussion.
