Peyton prob has 1-2 years of high productivity , MAX.

You even saw it as some points this season, dudes zip wasn't there.

And that's still barring injury.

I'm interested to see if he has more zip on his throws this year. Definitely possible being further away from the surgeries. I'd be cool with him getting a final ring or two and going out like John

Eh it's a possibility, but I doubt it, his arm looked worse as the season went on, and he couldn't whip it through that thin Denver air.

Plus another season of age plus that weather/cold.

He's got one ring, that's enough >D

Right but I thought that was due to it not being conditioned and strengthened in the offseason so it ran out of gas. Just what I've heard multiple times and it did make sense. Would have made more sense to be in a warmer climate or dome

And one ring is never enough for a legendary QB, though at least he has one (poor Dan)

Aaron Rodgers final contract is almost in stone.
Schefter: Aaron Rodgers nearing extension
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are getting closer to a long-term contract extension that would make the star quarterback the highest-paid player in NFL history, according to league sources.

Both Rodgers and the Packers are hesitant to comment on a potential extension, but league-wide speculation is that the deal could average $25 million per year.

Both sides have been extremely careful when publicly commenting on a deal. But those familiar with the contract talks believe a deal will be completed this offseason, and could happen sooner rather than later.

A former Super Bowl MVP, Rodgers is under contract through 2014, having signed a six-year, $65 million contract in October 2008. Rodgers' base salary in 2013 is $9.25 million, while his 2014 deal is worth $10.5 million.

Those financial figures are drastically less than the contracts struck recently by other star quarterbacks. Rodgers' new deal is expected to rival those of Joe Flacco, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning, a trio of Super Bowl MVPs whose contracts are among the richest in NFL history.

Flacco became the NFL's highest-paid player earlier this month when he signed a six-year, $120.6 million contract with the reigning champion Baltimore Ravens. The Saints signed Brees to a deal last year that pays him an annual base salary of $20 million. Manning's deal with the Denver Broncos pays a base salary of $18 million.

Rodgers, 29, passed for 4,295 yards and 39 touchdowns last season while leading the Packers to their fourth consecutive playoff appearance. The three-time Pro Bowler enjoyed his best season in 2011, when he was named league MVP after passing for 4,643 yards and 45 touchdowns.

Hope the Giants re-up on Eli, it's only going to get more expensive the longer they wait.

lol..saw that peyton hate and it raised a flag...lmao..sorry if im late

and peyton doesnt need anymore arm strength...show me an example where his arm strength was a problem...he made all the throws, fit the ball in tight windows, threw the finesse passes with touch, every time they hit the 30 sumn yard line he would launch one up to demarius...i think its a fruitless argument...hes no stafford or flacco with the arm strength but then again he doesnt need to be...he gets the ball where it needs to be EVERY TIME...3-5 years with 11-13 wins and another bowl sounds about right...

if peyton retires with the walk off super bowl like elway itll be sick...

Yea had an issue with my last screen name :nerd:

I give Peyton 2 years tops

He ain't walking off into the wind with a SB victory  more like a 1 and done.

I guess people can't have different views, it's my opinion on the matter.

Just like all the 9ers fans thought they were gonna win the Super Bowl and look how we'll that turned out :D

I'm sure you have options on certain plays that could've led you to victory :D

At the end of the day, it don't matter, only 1 team won.

lol..nah u cool peeps MMG...u remind of the dudes i hang out with...your dead wrong about peyton tho..

and i think we all as fans play the 'if' game...i always say 'if romo didnt throw that pick, or if free made that block, or if rg3 didnt demolish us on the read option' then we would of won...

woulda shoulda coulda...we all know how that goes...

like u said, theres 31 losers every year....

Bruh I need this contract to be signed so I can actually get some work done today... **** has me on twitter getting carpel tunnel clicking for new tweets.

But it makes more sense for 49ers fans to play that game since they were actually in the SB. They legit had a 50% chance of winning it all. Outside of that gets harder and harder to do that and realistically think that many variables would line up correctly

Well that's where we can disagree.

At the end of the NFL season only one team can win it, the rest are losers, doesn't matter how close or far you were from it.

But enough of this SB talk, new season on the horizon :pimp:

I put weight on SB appearances for a franchise's resume. I do count division titles as well but not nearly as much weight. Don't you put any stock in either of those (if I was a jerk this is where mentioning your franchise does would occur)?
