Seriously though, can you imagine being a kicker, going for the winning field goal kick and all of the sudden some 7 foot 9 dude comes out and just posts upat the line of scrimmage?? I'd be scared as hell if it was more than a 40 yard kick.

I can't stand Tyler Hansbrough. I can't really explain my hate. When he gets mad on the court it looks like hes about to cry. He has a nice collegegame, I can't lie. I don't think he'll be any good in the NBA though.

No way he makes it to the L...the days of lumbering 7-5+'s are way over. Yao has actual skill and agility.

@ them groupies insides when he's done. Guts smashed straight to Bolivian.
smh.gif

If he's gonna make it to the L, he has to go THIS year. As others have said, all that mass will take a toll VERY soon. So the longer he stays in school, the less money (long term) he'll earn from playing.

Dude definitely looks like a softish kinda Mr nice-guy. Like the rest of the team is always pranking him. Replacing his Magnum Ultra Ultra Ultras with regular-sized rubbers and *$*%.

ayo0o.

you complimented his piece twice

Dude is SEVEN NINE. If he ain't equipped to handle his business, then the man upstairs played a cruel joke on him.

Anyway, no more "piece" talks.

He played for Stetson and transfered last year. I don't know where he is now. His name was Cheif something. They played against Georgetown lastyear and he made Roy Hibbert look small.

That video of George entering the game made me fall on the floor laughing. He looks so huge compared to everyone else. 6'9" 250 lb guys look likemidgets next to him.

dude is soo soft too.

when my school played em(providence st. mel). dudes coach got mad at him cuz he missed a 2 and 2 at the ft line. he misses the 2nd one horribly. his coachchewed him out. dude cried and ran to the bench
laugh.gif
i swear to god this happened.

they should have seen that obviously somebody at that size is not gonna be able to succeed at basketball. its more likely that he'll lead a troubled life and his knees will breakdown from supporting all that weight.

if that was my kid, once the doctor looks at his plates and tells me he's gonna be a monster, i would have stopped him at around 6'4-6'6. at least that way if basketball doesn't work out, he can at least fit in to society and will be able to walk in 30 years.

You would've stopped him at 6'4???...Come on...I'm 6'9 and its perfectly fine for me.. and I don't think I'll have problems walkingin 30 years... (but then again I'm only 220...lol not 300+)...But you could at least wait until he's 7'0 then stop it..

He travelled before he took off for the dunk. Dude travelled when he went to start the dribble, watch his pivot foot.

also, this dude could DEFINATELY touch the top of the backboard!!

i doubt he could touch the top of the backboard......7'9'', even with arms three feet long, that would still leave 2'3''...and Idoubt he's got that kind of vertical as big as he is.

I feel really sorry for this guy. Being that tall would suck, just ask the world's tallest living man; his life is miserable and he said something alongthe lines of "I don't know what I did for God to curse me like this."

And hold on a second here. Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa...

I remember seeing him in high school but he was like 7'1" back then. Oratleast thats what he was listed at in the tournament booklet.

Why should he be the greatest basketball player ever? His knees are in terrible shape. He lumbers up the floor because he's already got knee problems.

I have knee problems, and it hurts like hell running up and down the court, and that's without being 7'9", 380 (or whatever).

Sure, if he was as healthy as Shaq was when he came out of LSU, he'd be a problem.

But he's not healthy, at least his knees aren't.

So any of you that have no idea what it's like to have bad knees, if you're wondering why he's not completely dominant, there's your answer; ithurts him.

Pretty simple.

*waits for comments about how he's soft 'just because' he can't play through his knee pain, just ripping down structures and averaging 83 agame*

I know those thoughts are swimming in the heads of some of you oafs.
laugh.gif
Y'all just don't get it sometimes.

^^^Get em' Ska!!! I have knee problems too, and i know how much it hurts to run and jump with a bad knee. But 22 MPG, and 13PPG? Thats pretty damn good!
