Please do. No sour grapes from me for RoJo heading West because he had to get away from his mom who was being told lies from Urban. I also wonder what was said to get Jerimy Finch to leave Michigan then Indiana for UF. There were some more rumors that Urb sold him on some BS but Jerimyactually played well this year as a Frosh so he might have kept that promise.

Nope. As far as ST's death is concerned, you will never the whole truth, to think his past wasnt involved is really naive. I knew Ely cats since middleschool we all use to play basketball and play Pop Warner football together. I knew Al Harris when people were calling him Shinard and he was selling 1/8ths outof his trunk. Tyrone Moss is like family, I aint have nothing bad to say about them personally, but those dudes are given special privileges and none of themever earned grades. Going to a 16 to a 22 on the ACT is a pretty big jump too, for anyone.

Everyone who follows college football knows the impact former Utah coach Urban Meyer has made at Florida, turning the Gators into a national caliber, and national championship team, after several years of unsatisfactory results. Now he apparently is making an impact on its gymnastics program too, and apparently some NCAA violations if the story is correct.
In short, Meyer was recruiting junior college receiver Carl Moore, who attended Sierra Community College in Placerville, Calif., along with his girlfriend, Maranda Smith. Smith had competed for UCLA's gymnastics team in 2006, but quit after an injury.
Once Meyer realized he wasn't going to sign Moore without Smith attending Florida as well, he contacted Florida gymnastics coach Rhonda Faehn for help. She just happened to have a scholarship available. The couple are now Gators, with Smith scoring a 9.775 on the uneven bars in exhibition Friday.
Sounds shady, doesn't it? It might just be.
In the story, Smith relates how she talked to Meyer "every day" in November and how he wanted her to attend Florida and compete in gymnastics.
First of all, as a football coach, Meyer cannot recruit for another sport. By contacting Smith, he broke the rule that all phone calls must be made by a head coach or one or more assistant coaches who count toward the limits of coaches who can recruit in a sport, which is three in gymnastics. Also, since he was effectively acting as a gymnastics coach, he broke the rule that in gymnastics coaches are allowed to contact recruits only once a week.
It'll be interesting to see if this article brings any sort of punishment for Meyer and the Florida program. He has been known to stretch rules and recruiting ethics before, with numerous reports of how he still heavily recruited athletes after they'd given other schools oral commitments. I wonder how this is going to play out with the NCAA?

Damn. Urban goes to ANY length to get a recruit. Can't knock his will to want to be the best but I can knock him on being a piece of garbage with nomorals. He will get his in time. Maybe he should look for a full time RB so his top WR and QB aren't beaten down and get beat by a Michigan team that hadno business within 2 TDs of that UF team.

smh at anyone who believes a word patrick johnson says. he tried to to enroll early at florida and got denied. why do you think he tried to end up at lsu? they get anyone in school, ask dwayne bowe.

Its not JUST Patrick Johnson that is saying that Urban does very low class things. It has been brought up for the past 3 years and now more and more ofthese allegations are coming out. It is hard to ignore them. PJ is a guy who's word isn't worth much, but it is hard to look past it when Urban hasbeen called out on many things in the past. He is a hell of a coach and a great recruiter but he is on another level when it comes to dirty recruiting.

Why did UF try to steal Nigel Bradham from us at the Army All-American game....Knowing he was an EE and was gonna enroll in like a week
Calling him while he was there and trying to get him to come to G-Ville for a visit...

why were they still recruiting him? maybe bc he's the best linebacker in the country and everyone around him (ie his mom and coaches) wanted him to go togainesville.
