First off, Garnett is a douche bag for throwing words at a 4th year player when he is supposed to be this 11-time All-Star vet. How about showing some class? You didn't see Barkley bragging to Clearance Weatherspoon about the number of All-Star selections he has.

Second, Jefferson actually has BETTER 4th year averages (points and rebounds) than KG did in HIS 4th year (nba.com, look it up) and if you look at Jefferson's game, you'll see he has better footwork, strength and overall a better upside than KG did at that point of his career. KG just needs to sit down and take the L.

Al's game is tailored more closely to Duncan's than Garnett's. It starts and ends in the low post. For being only a fourth year player, his footwork is remarkable. He's already got a nice little up and under move and little baby hook too. He's got about 50lbs. more muscle than KG and can actually back people down in the post - something KG was never able to do because of his small upper body. KG never developed that post game people thought he would. And I don't think KG's perimiter game is anything worth bringing up. It's not something he is known for. And did you say MUCH better defender?

KGs size alone prevented him for guarding anyone 1:1 on the low block. So if Duncan is the greatest 4 of all time when he's done playing ball and Al is showing glimpses of Duncan in his 4th year then of course I'll say he has better upside than KG. I think sports marketing has brainwashed a lot of people. Word to Penny Hardaway.

I don't know what you're talking about...KG goes to work on people on the block when he wants to. I think that's clearly been demonstrated for the last 12 years. The problem is that he is enamored with that jumpshot too often.

He is definitely not a threat in the post. At 6'11 220lb he's just not strong enough. He's quicker because of his size, but he's notbacking anyone down. He doesn't have good enough footwork to labled a post player.
Al showing glimpses of TD...nah, big difference. Especially on the defensive side

21 and 12, 4th year player out of High School. Don't just look at that point total, watch HOW he gets them.

I know how he gets them, and he's a load on the inside. But a TD comparison isn't fair, to him.
 
I love both guys. You can't hate on KG for this. This was during the game trash talk that probably happens in every single NBA game. You try to takeadvantage in any way you can to psyche out the opponent.

As for defense, KG is light years ahead of Al and was in his fourth year in the league. Man to man defense, weakside defense, and passing are Al'sweaknesses. Those are all strengths for KG.

Al's a great young kid and I hope he has a great career and he probably will.
 
Remember when the KG rumor breifly had Perkins and didnt have Al in the deal? My god, the team the Celtics would have... stick KG at the 5 and have Al at the4.

everybody sleepin' on AJ right now but he will be one of the better player in the L in few years. him and Brandon Roy of Portland looks real promising.dude is fillin' up stat sheet quick.

I agree with you man! I always liked KG before when he was with the T-Wolves because he always seemed cool and humble, aside from his skills of course. Butever since he joined the Celtics this season, he seemed to have change a lot! I always see him arguing a lot, even with the simplest of things.

Ever since he joined the Celtics, he's like (IMO): "Look at me now! Look at me now! I'm gonna show you all (the rest of the league)! I'm gonnaget myself a ring!!!"
