Which do you prefer? If you had to get rid of one pair?

I'm not sure? I sold my 2013 royals because I know the SLP will get a lot of burn

My 1s are from 94 so I want to keep them nice. In a way  . As far as the SLP I haven't worn them out yet because I just got them but I do what them to be my go to sneaker and beat them up

In all efforts not to be "that guy" but these are my pick.

quote]nice! U get em in neiman Marcus in nj to save on that tax

Seriously, Saint Laurent Paris might as well give this thread a discount code. The SLP INFLUENCE has taken over.

Everyone is gonna have a pair in here. First it was the Arenas now these.
I bought mine last Spring when everyone was buying the arenas lol I think it took people a few to get over the name change and new creative director.

Not "technically" a high end shoe, but it is relative to the high end world.

EDIT: Just realized that "sock" is actually part of the shoe. Apparently the entire thing is a big *** boot. Female shoe I guess.

Side post, UNDS'd today.

Air Murphy, do you know if they are out yet cause I didn't see them at any online store. I saw someone posted a pair of black suede with chain on IG, and they are FIRE!! I think the guy is from Japan. If you have any info, please let me know. Thanks

Respect to you my good sir as I know you are usually at the forefront of the new however I still remember when you posted them when YSL just made the name change to SLP and I made sure to voice how much I hated them for them being a Stan Smith Adidas COPY!

The mids are S/S so they should pop up at more shops soon. Only place I've seen them so far is mientus.com, but their shipping to the US is a flat rate of $130... Hopefully SLP stores start getting them soon.

As far as the suede chain boots, this pic sold me on them:

I think I saw the same guy on IG, he had a bunch of sizes in a few of the boots right? I'm sure he just grabbed them all when they went on sale. Saw someone selling in bulk on Superfuture also(think it was only the wheat harness boots and black leather chain though). I definitely prefer the suede over the leather, they will look brand new forever.

cant mess with these Prince PE's
 can't wear sneakers everyday... But I'd honestly take Prince boots as a compliment.

I only see him post one pair on IG. yeah I really love the look of the suede pair better than the leather. I was so close of getting the black leather with chains but I chose the tan suede and love them. and now I'm trying to find the black suede with chains after I saw those IG pictures. Hopefully, they will pop up soon.

for some reason, I really want these too...silver hmm

a few days late, but i havent checked into NT in a while. ive had my fair share of experience with customs duty. the tariff specifically tells you all the rules and charges. the percentage will vary depending on the type of merchandise and materials. for most sneakers, it is 20% of the declared value. this is why people always ask to declare a low value, although technically it's illegal/fraudulent.
there is an exemption of items up to $200 value if it is a "gift" which is also why people always request it be marked as a gift. if it is not a gift, and a value under $200, technically you could still find yourself having to pay a duty. some customs inspectors can be really jerks and go after you, while others will rubber stamp it. this is when dealing specifically with USPS, since theyre both (customs and the postal service) us government agencies. that said, a lot of merchants know this and are super cool and mark items at a low value without you even asking. i try to avoid sites where i hear stories about people getting taxed. some shops have a disclaimer saying they will not be responsble for fees and will not alter the value, mark as gift, etc. but if it's going usps, they hold onto your stuff until you pay up. if you dont, they'll return it to the sender. if you somehow got your stuff and the government comes after you to collect, it would probably be wise to pay it, although again youre not supposed to get it without paying them so im not sure you would ever be in such a situation.

it gets a little different when dealing with 3rd party couriers like ups, fedex, dhl, tnt, etc. since theyre the ones responsible for delivery, they have to clear customs for you so they can deliver the merchandise. if there is duty to pay, they pay the US customs folks the money to get it freed up for delivery. the cost would likely cost more than if it was charged from customs/usps because the courier also will charge a brokerage fee or whatever they want to call it for that extra work to clear your merchandise. that said, when they bill you to pay up after you get your stuff, it's not the goverment you need to worry about because they already got paid. it's the company (ups/fedex/whatever) that has to hound you and would need to call collections on you. im guessing the worse that can happen is they'll withhold future deliveries to your address, if that. i know fedex always bills you after, but UPS would not release a package to me without paying, so i paid it. sucked.

People need to not be fooled by Sneaker boys Australian address. The company is run by a couple guys from Hong Kong, and they ship from Hong Kong. I was worried it was to good to be true and I have a feeling people will realize that if they every make another purchase.

Y does that matter? I'm really not trying to be a smart *** I just want to know. I just got an order from them and was very pleased. Ur making me nervous about ever ordering from them again. Lol I'm pretty sure when I tracked the package in the beginning it said it was located in Australia. If I remember correctly that is. Why are you so against them?
