No ones talking about them anymore because those pyramid GATs are a year old? They were on sale at Gilt or Yoox or MyHabit a few months ago too and it didn't sell out fast.

It got plenty of exposure when they first released here, they're cool though and was a bit underrated.

$1600 Gucci Cobra skin runners.

Pyramid gats hit for much less than that when the last set of sales went around. They can Still be found for cheaper

Yeah, those GATs were <$250 at at least a couple places.  I'm generally not a fan of GATs but I thought about getting them until I realized I wouldn't wear them much.

It's been awhile, NT. Didn't get a chance to post this from last week when I went to see the Circus De Soleil Michael Jackson Immortal Tour. Decided to wear my Black Christian Louboutin Louis Flat Spikes. :D  I must say it was an amazing show sadly, they were extremely strict with cameras/phones leaving me unable to share some moments of the show.

Sick Loubs bruh, and yeah that show was sick. I almost got licked out of the Bay for trying to snap pics.

Back to the dopeness.

NOT EVEN THE SIMPLE COLORED GATS?
I've just never been a fan, said it a few times before in the DB thread that they just remind me of leftover cheap 80s indoor soccer shoes that the poor kids had to wear.

Not even Sambas either, these were like literally German Army Trainers that were discovered in a bunker somewhere and sold 2 for 1 so parents could get the little brother a pair for the future.

Only thing I like about the pyramid GATs was that they were unique AND lost the look of typical GATs

The bottoms of those are reminiscent of driving shoes style. Are they classified as driving shoes or loafers? Now that I think about it they do look more like drivers.

I am no expert and will not even pretend to be one lol

Loafers ,Drivers who cares they are nice either way and truly versatile, can be worn with slacks or denims even sweats :nthat:

This is honestly my favorite thread in NT

The sole will definitely tell you about the durability and the amount of wear it can stand. Loafers has the typical leather sole that can be re-soled but it does cover the whole sole and tends to be more durable while drivers usually has that weird patterned sole that are placed there but it will be impossible to replace because it is like individual rubbers that sticks out of the upper. The bottoms are softer because it's pretty much connected to the uppers and that can make a difference.

^Repped for the knowledge dropped.

I thought this was the case but glad we have confirmation

Not to be confused, those are two different variations of a driver sole.

Typical loafers typically has the regular leather sole.
