I love Nike Dri-Fits but I absolutely hate it that their swoosh are visible on their lower cut socks.
I don't mind the logo when I am playing ball or running or working out but casually, it's kind of a pet peeve.

if ur pleateds are tight u may have to go up to 40 but if u have any room at all I would stick with 39. They will be tight first few wears but will stretch to ur foot

Thanks for the response. I went ahead and ordered the size 40 from Mr P last night since shipping is fast and returning is easy if these don't work out. Unfortunately, Mr P didn't have a 39 on their site so I won't be able to exchange if they don't fit.
I would consider my pleateds a tight fit. They are really snug and hurt my feet if I wear them for more than a few hours walking a lot.

If you are wearing low-tops, I recommend the no show with the swoosh logo on the arch or loafer socks.
I usually wear mids/low cut with Mid/high shoes and no show or loafer socks with low cut shoes.

Nike Dri-Fit socks are definitely the way to go. The standard kind as they have a nice cushion to them and aren't as thick as the Elite Dri-Fit ones.

Not too thick? That's good. Just bought some Costco black socks a few weeks ago and didnt realize till i wore them that they are thick as hell and make all my shoes fit tightly.
Sounds like Dri-Fit or Gold Toe is the way to go.

Gold Toe will be thicker than the Dri-Fits unless you go with the Gold Toe dress socks. Nikes are cushioned in certain areas only so it is nice and ventilated.
I personally go with the low-cut or quarter high version (no shows doesn't stay on me, when I start to walk it gets pulled down for some reason) but it's all really personal preference.
