I don't know I always saw blue that way, red is a lot louder, I don't know, you won't go wrong with either CW.

Yeah, it's subjective but I think I understand how the royals could be perceived as more versatile. Red is kind of a louder color in general and less likely to blend into a subtle look. Whereas, Royal isn't dull at all but the color blue tends to pop a bit less and has a greater chance of blending into a subtle look, since blue is often a base color in looks, if that makes sense.

Ahh I just saw this, this is how I feel.
 
Couple of sub-$100 beaters. Was surprised to see them at DSW for $160, they had a buy 2 pairs and get 30% off deal. Got $10 off from a birthday coupon and managed to talk the saleschick to remove an extra $10 off because the shoes were "displays". These are nice especially the black suede, quality is very good too for the price I paid.

Joking aside, quality is way better on the Vince than Adidas' SMs, even the Raf version isn't close. Plus Stan Smith doesn't have black suede uppers. Silhouettes better too, toe isn't as bulbous (maybe due to thicker and more consistent mid-sole?), it's pretty much a takedown Lanvins (captoes without the captoes). I would say takedown of CP achilles but that has a flat toe, this one has a structured one. I could do without the perforated 3-stripes as well.
 
There are lots of ways, just got to be vigilant. SSense has the breds for $484 for example, plenty of sizes when it first went up and lasted a few hours too, now there's only a 43 left.

Farfecth also had the royals for around $440 but I think there was only one or two sizes available.
 
Has anyone been charged import duties on Ssense? Just want to make sure there aren't any surprises before I pull the trigger on something from their sale.
 
Scored these for $89 today, now that's one helluva price for CP beaters.

And not a fan of red shoes, but I couldn't turn these down for $190

Stoked to get both in
