man, if i get these and really like them i won't be trying to sell them anyways... i can never sell my kicks, even when i plan to... i probably will cop...

but let me ask y'all something about this, does the top strap hang like this?

i really don't like the way the strap looks in that top pic... if it's gonna eventually droop like that i won't like the shoe...

C'mon man, I dontwant to come off as a d*** but its probably best for you to not buy these. If people posted pictures with the strap up then its obviously possible. 1 of thosepictures is from an NTer, why don't you PM him and ask how he did it and how it held up.

i wouldnt suggest you pull the trigger on these... you seem like you have buyer's remorse before even making the purchase. the only reasonyour hesitant to buy is the $1100 therefore your not completely comfortable buying sneakers at that price so you shouldnt purchasethem.
 
I agree with the others here. If you are this worried and nervous about purchasing such an expensive shoes, then you may want to pass.
Practicality isn't exactly what these shoes pertains and I really do feel like you will regret it later on.

$600? The cheapest LV x Kanye's are $830 something I believe, the grey Don's I think. If they were $600 people would be lining up on a craze trying toget a pair, although it is practically sold out even at $1200 retail so it is pointless.

Retail was 1070 before tax, so I don't know if you guys were incorporating the taxes in the price as well. Just wanted to clarify

it's entirely possible that it stays up when you first get 'em, but it eventually gives and droops... that's why i asked...

i pm'd ol' boy tho... just thought i'd ask here as it seemed a few cats in this thread also got them...
 
i don't think it's odd for me to be questioning dropping that much on a pair of shoes... i think most would, and most would decide against it.

however, i've dropped about the same on two pairs of shoes b4, so it's not completely crazy for me to drop it on one. especially if i really like them.

i'm just trying to gauge right now how much i do like them, not being able to see them in person. that's why i'm asking a lot of questions... andof course if something happens and i don't like them, it'd be nice to get what i paid... that's the only reason i asked about that stuff...

you guys act like because i got these questions i shouldn't be buying them... i just think that's a bit much, and it's perfectly normal for anaverage guy to thoroughly think through a purchase like this...

anyways, thanx for your input NT. they're on hold for me at an LV store, i'm probably gonna cop today...
 
It's not that. You have 14 days to get a full refund on the shoes.
Buy them and once you receive it, check it out and if you don't like it, then you have 2 weeks to return them.
Hell if it is in the LV store on hold for you, check them out and you should decide right there and then if you like it or not.
You like it, you take it home. You hate it, then you leave it there.
You just make it sound like it may take you several months to realize you do not like it and looking to get your money back by then.
We are simply saying that purchasing the shoe shouldn't be too complicated.
If you like it, get it, if you don't, they are returnable without a problem.
 
they're in a store in florida, i'm in north carolina...

i gotta order them over the phone...

this chick was nice enough to let me get around the lack of sales history...
 
Are they shipping it to your nearest LV store or your home?
Either way, you should be able to return them to any LV store, un-person or by mail so you are not entirely stuck with it if you end up not liking it.
The only loss is probably the shipping cost if you go that route.
 
to my house... my local LV store doesn't sell shoes so they couldn't even have them transferred there. so i doubt i can return them there...

only reason i'd probably return these is if they don't fit right... which i'm really hoping they do because all other sizes are long gone...

but what's with this rumor about them releasing more in a month or two?
 
You can return them to any LV store, I guarantee it.
LV is all about customer service, even J. Crew allows returns on limited edition shoes to any J. Crew stores and the shoes were only sold in 2 stores in thewhole U.S.

I don't think it is a rumor, I believe it is confirmed that certain pairs are being re-stocked.

I'm with RFX, if you want them, buy and if they don't suit you, return. The thing we're stressing is that once you wear them outside the house, youcan basically say goodbye to your $1200 (yes, it'll be a little less, but it's roughly that after tax and shipping).



And to your remark about most people questioning buying $1200 sneakers and then changing their minds, that's exactly the point. MOST people won't buythese. Typically, it's people who can just swipe and go. If you're going to cop, cop because you like them and have justified their worth being $1200.

Thats exactly why I didn't buy those shoes. Regardless of how much money I made this year I still can't justify paying $1200 for thesneaks that I will wear maybe at most 5 times out the year. Oh btw did the boat shoes ever release or were there just samples? Those were the only LV X KanyeI really liked even though majority of the people said it was ugly.

also, i saw the low top Damier street sneaker. and i must say, they are pretty nice. Im waiting for the high tops to decide which one to get.
