They are the youth version of the Air Max 1 which used a different midsole.

EDIT: I didn't see the post above me but there it is...

very special pick up for myself cause I got these back in the days when I was a kid.
I hope they are wearable, I´m pretty sure they are and I will try it, so let´s see what happens.

Are yours still wearable, Cris?

23kickz, interestingly enough there have been three pairs on ebay recently. One, a 1988 ORIGINAL in a dark navy blue that resembles your pair almost to a tee.But in different lighting, its apparent its a different color.. After the 1988 originals, there were one other in 1994. the pair that you have. They have ablack accent instead of that dark navy.. Ebay has been a good gauge. With the right midsole condition, in bad times its looking at $60-80 for either 88 or 94shoes. But some 94 just recently sold for $200 bin that had minor cracking but a midsole that looked real good overall.

In good yearly conditions that should be in the $250-400 range. I remember you buying those for rather cheap on ebay.. A steal of a lifetime.. that seller hadno clue. They aren't too highly wanted compared to the "chlorophyll" green original, which might only net $250-300.. It's definetly on thelow side right now. I would wait to sell unless you want that quick $200-250

Karl I got them at Solemart from a table where were two guys,
one black man that also spoke german and was very very friendly ( I bought the shoes from him)
and a white boy that only spoke english.
Wore them today for about 4 hours no signs of any crumbling or cracking

It seems they are depreciating in value and before they go any lower I need to let them go. I just sold them on ebay for $365 shipped. Sucks but at least I can pass the torch to someone who can truly appreciate them. By the way, sick looking infrareds. I really would have liked to find a pair for a decent price.

I understand where you are coming from, thats the exact way I feel about these:
