STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

I'm in my training class with 22 other people. It's kind of amazing paying attention to other people's eating/drinking habits compared to your own. not many people having water on their table or barely even drinking a 16.9 oz bottle.

but the cokes and sprites are being drank like once an hour.....by the same people.
coffee with a lot creamer, a lot of sugar.

maybe my self conscious mind is sitting there counting the calories for them. and just thinking man what waste, but then again people going to do what they want and i cant ccontrol that. but we have 3 drinks to choose from.. diet coke, sprite, coke....guess which there is more of.
People are addicted to those sugary drinks man. Like if you are at a food court and just look around at how many people opted to get these large fountain drinks, it is wild man. Sometimes I want to speak up but, you know you can't do that

Having a coke with a meal is just a social norm in America.

Fousey killed it

So he worked out for 90 straight days? If so, that is impressive

Some people would be amazed at how much weight they can lose just from cutting out their soda intake alone.
Yea that is where I was getting. Hell, liquid calories period. Juice, sodas alike. Just straight water man. But, that sugar is a DRUG man.

Aye, do yall "cleanse" when you get back from a vacation. Took a laxitive this morning. Waiting for it to kick in. I wanted to hit the track but I will wait until later on after I am "done."

**** sugary drinks in general man. All that juice with loads of sugar is terrible. See a big difference in fat loss

he would buy those V8 Splash bottles all the time. And I would be like, "Man if you are trying to go to the next level, you gotta leave those juices alone."

Him: "It says I am getting 5 servings of fruits and veggies per glass.

Me:

Like folks FALL for those marketing schemes man

Soda is a weakness for me. I've gotten a lot better through this past year. Started replacing with Canada Dry seltzer. I just like the carbonation. I'll have a coke every now and then but no where near before. And of course ice cold water >>>>>

all fousey pranks be fake and rigged though. shrugs.

DC, just up your fiber bro/sis. it'll keep you regular.

what was Coca-Cola's motto...have a Coke and a smile? Yeah. They molded the country into this sugary drink sipping beast.

If you guys just take a break form pop for a little while. Let it get all out of your system, the addiction will be gone, I promise you, then you can go back and have 1 here or there. Although, once you aren't addicted, you may be surprised how your taste buds have changed and you may not even like it anymore.

No man. I am not irregular at all. I do a #2 at LEAST 2x per day. I was simply talking about coming FROM vacation and cleaning yourself out before getting back in the swing of things

I did fasted morning work out today.. not bad, i had more energy to start then I thought, but i got fatigued a bit quicker than normal
but that could have been due to the 30 rep each set workout im doing.
right now im 5 hours in to my day from the work out. I feel good energized (even though im sitting through this training course) I'm still not a fan of going fasted. but this works out since my job has training OT and some of my training class mates may want to go out to eat later.

a lot of the soda drinker addiction is caffeine also. so be careful with filling in that missing caffeine linke you may go to coffee but still dumping creamers and sugars in it.
