My libido is on another level right now.
Im horny as **** all the time.

I be lookin at the dumbbells sometimes and just want to **** em

Any of you guys eat way past your TDEE?

I'm bulking and my TDEE is 2800, I have a hard time eating just 500 above.

I guess I'm making it tough for myself when I decide to cut but I need to get my numbers up
Whats a TDEE?

I eat so much, Im pretty much just maintaining though. I have no desire to put on any more weight, just looking to change composition.

I hear you.
Some food for thought though, I recommend not doing bulking and cutting cycles, at least in the traditional sense of putting on weight fast and then cutting just because you got fat. I suggest find a good medium where its enough to fuel your workouts and make strength gains, if you do that you will put on muscle. I don't suggest long cuts for natties period, unless you just have to get lean for a show.

Get your numbers up, you won't regret it.

Foam roll and stretch your back and hamstrings. It'll work with your back and help it loosen up.
Yah. I'm actually on the foam roller as I type this. Hahah. It's weird. It's right around my sacral area. I think I'm gonna have to start doing Pilates or some ish. Basketball is killing me

My mind is telling me just eat and get your numbers up

I'm about 4000 - 4500 calories a day

Im scared to ball cause of how my back would feel the next day. I used to play 3-4 times a week when I was younger smh.

Not that it makes a difference, because it soesnt, but nasm and ace and two of the lowest reapected certs.

Nsca and acsm are the 2 best.
Ah, ACSM was the one.

You ask different people you get different answers. Like you said, doesn't make a difference.

Man, all you guys talking about bulking all the time makes me feel like i'm the minority here.

I don't post in this thread often but I figured what the heck, here's my current journey and goals.

Ever since college i've always been a fairly big partier, continued on drinking every weekend here in the city of Chicago.  Being single it can be hard to NOT go out, for many obvious reasons of course. I also lived in Vegas for a year which did not help my case for settling things down as I was in my late 20's.  The big thing that is involved is that moderation and I have never really been friends.  I can't just have 1 or 2 drinks, that turns into shots and out all night with friends (I like electronic music and those parties can go late).   In August or so, things started to hit me a bit harder.  My recovery time was noticeably longer and went from 1 day to 3 or 4 days.  I started to blackout a bit more often as well which is obviously not an ideal situation.  I knew that I had to make a complete lifestyle change.

In September I decided to do a sober month to see how it would go and it made me feel amazing. I returned from Paris & London at the end of October and realized how overweight I was and started to think of ways to take action.  At the time i was pushing 180 with a huge gut from all the beer and alcohol from the summer.  (I'm 5 ft 7 but a smaller guy).    So on October 29th I decided that was it, and decided to take an indefinite break from drinking and the sloppy lifestyle I was living.  I gave up alcohol, beer, wine, carbonation and juice.   Staying in on the weekends at first was a challenge, but I got used to it.  At the end of November I decided to start hitting the gym hard and have been doing a TON of cardio since.  I started with 2 miles a day, twice a week.  Then went to 3 days a week and have continuously increased the intensity and mileage accordingly. I work out in a small gym in my condo building so there is never an issue with getting a treadmill, just the lack of free weights/lifting equipment has been a challenge.

Here we are 3 months later and I weighed in at 155 today.  I've dropped 3 waist sizes, lost 25 pounds, become more focused at work and became a top 5 rep at my company.  I've saved so much money it's absurd and never thought about how much I was spending on alcohol per week!  My diet is continuously improving and I'm getting serious results so I must be doing something right.  Still trying to cut 10 more pounds and maintain that solid 145 weight.

I know this is a long read, but I've gotten a lot of tips and as stupid as it may sound, motivation, just from reading your guys success's.  If anyone has suggestions on what they've done when put in a situation with a small condo gym, i'd love to hear it.  They do have the typical machines and kettle bell, etc.

No lie, I followed these guy's advice for 2 month and my flat bench went from 150 to 170. I was stuck on 145/150 for a good 3-5 month as well.

Didn't watch the video but you can expect to see those results form a 5x5 if you haven't exhausted it already.

Keep up the good work homie! Keep eating right and pushing heavy weights period

Good for you homie. You can still have a few drinks here and there, just be disciplined enough to keep at at a few. Youre gonna fail here and there but its about how you handle it after. Keep at it and best of luck. NT got you.

If you need someone to yell at you and have you straighten up, BIGBOSS is pretty good at being an ahole.

Lowkey, I think I'm getting strong. Then whenever I see BIGBOSS post I'm like "****".....

And it reminds me to not be complacent with where I'm at :pimp:

This "trainer" at my gym really rustled my jimmies

I ran into my boy and it turns out he was going for a PR on deadlift.

I had just finished squatting in the power rack so my friend took the bar and started deadlifting behind the rack. While he was working up to the PR weight a "trainer" and two "clients" started squatting in the Smith Machine next to us. I was pretty beat from squatting so I was just watching my friend deadlift and I could hear the guys at the Smith Machine talking. The trainer starts completely bad mouthing my boy, calling him a "stupid powerlifter". He told his clients that working with such heavy weight is stupid and takes too long. "We'll be finished with our squats long before he gets done deadlifting, and he started first. Powerlifting is so dumb." I didn't say anything cause I figured it wasn't worth it.

My boy ended up hitting a new PR of 455 but failed when he tried 465 right after. He's only about 150lbs give or take. He wants to try competing but keeps putting it off for some reason.

Damn props to your boy. F those trainers. It's not like it's hard to get a job being a gym douche. I see them too.

last year I was playing all 3-4x a week. I just started having pains in my back the past 3 weeks. It's really messed me up. I've been doing all the machines with back support when I workout. No free weights or trx cuz my back will hurt
