Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Thanks for that report, Streetballa. I'm gonna have to check my local walmart after the holiday rush dies down a bit. It doesn't look like those fit too bad off the rack, which is nice. I just hope they have a good selection of sizes and aren't just stocked up on larger sizes (for some reason I don't imagine walmarts carrying much stock for slimmer folks...).

Got these Bass joints for $20 from a JC penny outlet.
While grabbing some more christmas gifts.
Fit perfectly, found em in a return bin.
Don't eem know what to wear with them yet.

Solid pickup. Those are very versatile shoes that you should be able to wear with jeans, chinos, even sockless with shorts in the summertime.

Here are the pics from the harris tweed at wal-mart. The first 2 have the same pattern but the first one is more of a blu-ish color which i really love (hard to tell from the pics) the second pic looks like more of the traditional tweed color. The third is a different pattern but i didn't care for it so much. the first picture of me trying it on is actually to big (44L). i was able to wear a 42 L perfectly in the second pic. For the most part they feel and look great in my opinion especially for the price $49.99, Im not a tweed connoisseur though but its good stuff. I would pull the trigger now but i know that they wont sell here at my walmart because people were looking at me crazy when i was examining the clothes.
my measurements are 6 foot 240 lbs. (pumping too much weight trying to slim down.

thanks for the pics. what was the biggest size you saw? any 46L?

Id suggest going to JCPenny if you want a cheap, well fitting tweed jacket. I just bought one for $46

Blake I definitely understand. I just checked them out because i never though they would be at Walmart. I would purchase if the price goes down to be honest. but it has to go for really low.

thanks HHornet the smallest size i saw i think was a 38s. and they had a pretty good selection of sizes but i would pay attention to make sure the buttons are on the end of the sleeve I think one of them had the whole row missing so just pay attention just in case. because u know wa-lmart just throws things around.

THREE they definately had 46 L but i think they also had 48 i should of checked. but I know 46 long was there.

As suspected, the Neiman collection at Target is now 50% off. They may even go deeper than that since the sizes aren't moving. Link to the Thom and Rag and Bone:

Haha, yeah man. You should try to get that $75 price adjustment! Maybe pick up the cardigan in the process :smokin

I got mine ready to wear to my family xmas party this week.

Depends on what I want to do for NYE. I really dislike going out because of the drunk crazies that will flock the roads soon after 12AM so we will see. Last year, my outfit, as a whole, cost less than $200  We went clubbing..wore BR shirt, H&M waist coat, H&M dress trousers, and Clarks DB. Everything except my shirt had alcohol stained at the end (kind of anticipated that).

I hear that. Wore my Y3 boxing sneakers last year... Woke up to them covered in alcohol and my sweater was ripped. Oh well.

Oh and if anyone was looking for a nice wool peacoat. My local Macy's had them on sale for $99. Retail was $300 I believe. Probably gonna' go back and get one tomorrow.

Pretty sure it was this one:

At that price point the cardigan may get copped...HHHornet does it fit true to size? I'm gonna have to order online since my local one at home didn't carry any of that in store when I was there earlier last week. :nerd:

Awesome, thanks bro especially for the fit pic gives me a better idea...gonna order now

Wis, what size did you cop when you picked the jacket up?
I'm a small, dude. I'm 5'9'' at 155 lbs. Chest measures at 37", waist at 32" (true measurements). Hope that helps.

RE: the Thom blazer being crap....well, it's not going to be as good as the mainline blazers that retail for a grand a piece. The blazer is made in Vietnam, but I got it as a fun blazer. I tried on a Thom Grey blazer today at Barneys that was around $700, and the quality wasn't that much nicer.

 I think I threw the tag out, man. I already knew it would be going on sale, I just didn't expect this soon. It's only $75, no biggie.

Edit: I actually found the receipt, will try to do the price match tonight. Hopefully I can find parking.

Latest pick ups:

Hey guys, I hope everyone gets his gif tomorrow. Please PM me if you don't. I am traveling to Michigan for the holiday and hope I can reach everyone by Christmas.

I reached out to everyone and they said they would sent it to arrive by the holiday. Some were more stubborn than others.

Happy Holidays folks.

Recent stuff I picked up. $60 Eastland Lumberjacks from Nordstrom Rack. My friend thought they were Red Wings. Had to tell her i'm poor and will get the real things next year :smh:. I got a black sherpa toggle hoodie from Old Navy that is pretty nice. Pair of LL Bean boots during the sale with Thinsulate.

What you guys think of wearing purple with black suit to Christmas party and church? I would like to stand out a bit and not wear same color as others like red or festive color
