Awesome job on the coat

these are apparently made by AE and are available at the shoe bank for $219.  Pretty good selection of sizes, just ordered both colors for myself to consider when they arrive.
Thanks for the info, I really like that russet brown.  Any idea about the sizing?  And can you refresh my memory about the shoe bank's return policy just in case?  I have a wide foot so it can be kinda hit or miss especially since those are only listed as D and I hate taking chances if it's tough to return shoes.

Has anyone here tried the J Crew 770 jeans/pants? Insight in general and compared to the 484?  I know it states "narrower than the slim-straight but not as skinny as the 484."  I don't like the slim-straight at all but the 484 can be too slim for certain pants.
484 is trim throughout the leg.

770 is the slim straight in the seat, 484 from knee down. You have a little bit more allowance in the waist with 770s
Hmmm...thanks but I still don't know if that'd work.  I need something not as tapered for appointments with more conservative clients but I naturally prefer a fit along the lines of the 484.  I'm too particular and I'm not about to wear some old-man steeze.

This is more specifically for chinos.  Dockers slim Alphas can be okay but I feel like they're all over the map since they apparently changed things.

I have tried on a 1000 mile cordovan boot in my standard size.  I would say it was slightly more roomy but not enough that I would get a different size.  I would say order half size up to accomadate for your wide foot.  Return to shoe bank is supposed to be $10 but you could prob get one of the outlets to give you a return label if you order through them.  I will report back after these come in and I try on

Those hitting up jcrew today def be sure to check out the sale items online before you go to the store in case you want to make any phone orders in store. When i went today, they didn't have any more of the Ramsay fair isle sweater in my size so i phone ordered it cause they had a small online. Came out to around 33 with the 50% off and the student discount. Also picked up this herringbone sport coat.
