Dressing Better Vol 2.0

In regards to Lunargrands, do people still like them?

I guess I'm curious how well the style has aged over the last few years. Outside of the 1st generation Lunargrand wingtip, particularly the model pictured below, I find them pretty stale in regards to material and colorways.

Also,

One of the gifts from my beautiful fiance this morning was a bottle of Oban 14.

I'm not much of a Scotch drinker but if I find myself somewhere with a well stocked bar, I may have Oban 14 with a splash or Macallan 18 neat. I've never had an open discussion with her about what Scotch I like so I found that random but sweet that she took notice.

Anyways, I figured I'd share since there was a lengthy conversation in here a few months back about Scotch whiskey.

bLaZ3n: I like the briefcase more - it looks very similar to a Jack Spade bag. It's more of a personal preference though. Both are nice and simple.

Should I buy childrens XL or Mens small? I'm on the slim side, and short. My cousin buys most of his polos/shirts from the childrens XL side since it costs less but fits just as fine.

I'm on team frail too and I find that most kids size fit wide and short. I would look for brands that fit the closest OTR and tailor accordingly.

95% off my work clothes are MTM from either modern tailor or Indochino. For casual wear, I would check out Uniqlo, H&M, Zara, and Gap.

I can understand it being too short but wide tho??

Brother is hella team frail. Talmbout he tapers the arms on da ludlow frail..

I've seen him with PRL polos from the kids section. They are not slim at all. Instead they are pretty wide just as what Kal is saying. Either way, go MTM bruhs. Quit it with the kids sh*t
:x

What's all this frail talk? You should only be shopping for kids clothes if you're short. If you're anywhere near adult height, it will not work.

Just got home from Atlanta, had a great weekend seeing Quadron and Mayer Hawthorne :pimp:

Did some shopping while down there, mentioned the flyknit lunar 1s from the outlets, also picked up some more BB shirts, they changed their labels. It was hard to tell what's what, they no longer have the fits on the label. Instead of it saying Extra slim fit, it's just green. So everything is color coordinated. Got 3 for 208 with the corporate discount. Also picked up a couple belts from Nordstrom Rack along with more trousers.

Also checked out SuitSupply and I'm glad I did, wasn't impressed with much of their stuff. The London fit seems to be the one that works best for me but didn't like the Napoli or the Washington at all and was really considering buying one of those soon

All in all pretty great weekend, Atlanta has some of the best restaurants in the south too. This week I have to hit the gym hard

Damn I miss home... :frown:

I'm glad that you had a good time though. Did you have some Waffle House?

 no, there's a Waffle House just a few minutes down the street from my house. I try to go to restaurants that I don't have in my hometown when I travel. We go to Hudson's whenever I'm there and this time we tried a Korean BBQ place and ate at the Assi food court today on out way out. Atlanta is great but still can't get used to the traffic, the terrible drivers, and the fact that there are different Peachtree Streets, Drives, Roads. That stuff is confusing

You're right. We just say Peachtree and folks get it.

I'm kinda thinking about going to SS when they come to LA just to check out the fabrics and such. Who wants to roll with? We can go get ice cream afterwards.

This. American kids are fat. Kids clothing are made to accommodate that.

If you compare a kids XL PRL polo vs a mens S from uniqlo/h&m, etc. I can almost guarantee the PRL will be wider.

You'll pay ? :nerd:
 Yes. I'll pay for lunch and desert. Unless if 5+ cats show up, then it's every man for himself.

The only reason I'm entertaining the thought is because I kinda want to get a linen suit made.

PS...I saw Crazy Stupid Love for the first time in its entirety today. I laughed. Reminds me of Hitch because there's 'restructuring' of the dude to get him into proper fitting gear and what not.
