BR blazers are great OFT esp for around 60-90 bucks. way better than HM/zara/express quality.
Cop a navy or gray slacks fam. U dont need khaki wool trousers if that is what you are referring to by "slacks"

In all seriousness I have about 7 Tommy Hilfiger and Polo Dress shirts that I rotate during the summer. I pick them up from TJMaxx and Marshalls for about 15-30 a piece. My company goes casual in the summer.

Try J. Crew Ludlow trousers for cheaper ones. Those are as slim as my designer brands.
Trousers or slacks as you call, have a certain silhouette. The material doesn't matter. I have trousers made from cotton, wool and denim.

The ones I have are from Epaulet. They are a bit pricier than mall brands.
J. Crew has them as well. I think they're called J. Crew Ludlow in chino or something like that.

Fitted tee is a staple. So versatile., esp in white, gray, or black.
I can stand the hot weather. Humidity is another question though

it gets so hot here that in the summer during the work week i usually just wear some of my lacoste polos..i prefer em over all my RL ones cuz ive grown to like the slimmer euro cut . even though i have the arms of a 10 year old

Look into Ministry of Supply dress shirts if you're down to spend $90-100 . They look a little weird since it's basically a Dri-Fit dress shirt, but under a suit no one will notice. I swear by these when it's extra hot and I have to be in warm environments/wear a suit/go clubbing in a spot with no ventilation. Linen blend shirts aren't enough for me and at that point I care much more about staying cool and avoiding visible sweat stains than luxurious Egyptian cotton or w/e.
