Dressing Better Vol 2.0

I copped three of the sweat shirts (gray, dark gray, light blue). Denim looks interesting. It's hard to take the work jacket seriously with Dennis modeling it

 didn't even notice him modeling it, think I'm gonna go check out their taper loose for jeans, never wear loose so figure I go try it on. Can get my Williamsburg look going on with those :pimp:

BLK DNM price point is the highest I'd go

How much is that?

A leather is something that will literally last you a lifetime. You should save up until you find exactly what you want, regardless of whether or not it's $500, $1k, $2k...

What's wrong with the SF Vanson or whatever? I'm considering it but I don't like heavy leathers and that one looks like it weighs 5kg

That PBJ line is dope. I thought it was weird that they used that name because it's shared by Pure Blue Japan denim, but I guess they don't have legal rights to it. Anyhow, that sweats collection dropping next week is fire as well.

Uniqlo is one of the few stores that does actually have a location in Chicago. I have been to the London stores but not the Chicago one. I placed a 5 item order with them online and they handled it like a bunch of dumbasses. Two wrong sizes and one wrong color. They should stop identifying two colors by the same primary color if their shipping department can't handle it (i.e calling a blue and green stripe "blue" as well as a blue and white stripe "blue")

BLK DNM retails around $800-$1000 so I assume that's his budget. BLK DNM does go on deep discount, I often see them go to at least 50% off every season.

I got a homie who can oop, so I keep them in mind.

Vanson would likely be it. I just hate waiting to long into the fall season.

inb4 shorter wait time in comparison to TOJ. I likely will order from them anyway.

Aren't they shipping next month?

I do agree though - if you want a piece of the fall, buy it ASAP even if you have to pay retail so you can get the most use out of it.

Good luck!

Not to be delivered until November.

So hopefully not mid/late November. Cold weather already hit a tad this morning..

Wore this to a beach wedding down in Curacao over the weekend. Date was supposed to wear a dress that was matching my shoes but she said she didn't like it anymore

Overall good experience. You basically give them your measurements and they tailor the suit, they have a video of how to do it if you have someone that doesnt know how. I waited about 6 weeks.

Jacket
One button with double vents and functional buttons. I prefer double vents because it's more functional. Jacket fit = on point

Pants
Non pleated and no belt loops

My issues:
They send it in a square box and with NO garment bag. I thought I would have to fix the collar or let out the back because there was slight rolling, but the longer I wore it, it went away which let me know it needed to breathe. However, it still needs to be pressed. I had Suit Supply send me a few suits, all of which came in an individualized garment bag and did not need to be pressed.

Looks good. Def post a fit pic if you can.

I order an essential Navy indo for my pops on August 30th and already got shipping notification on it today. Scheduled to arrive this Thursday. One HELL of a turn around for MTM. Hopefully it fits him fine as he needs it for my uncle's wedding on October 11th. With the speedy delivery, I would have plenty of time to get any alterations made though.

That is a very good turn around.

Very true just left broadway store, and the wash is trash in person, and loose fit/taper fitted nothing like I expected it to look. And the slim version was even worst fitting, straight leg jeans are :x

Wasn't a fan of the line's denim jeans, I liked the $40 jeans better. The t-shirt fit was great.

Indochino nevers ships their suit with a garment bag. I have a couple extras so I've managed. If you're near an ikea you can scoop a couple up for $3. Check your local tailor they usually will press it for cheap. Most dry cleaners, at least those near me, will not press it without dry cleaning it first.

what's the story with epaulet trainers? they don't make em anymore?

The German Army Trainer replica or the low top simple sneaker they just released?

Whats indochino or suit supply quality like? thinking about ordering a suit

Suit Supply and Indochino are both half-canvassed. SuitSupply uses better fabrics.
