Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Looking for a leather briefcase to carry a laptop, notebook, and a few documents in. Just got my first full time job that starts in July and looking for some options in this area. Looking to spend ~$450 or less. It will be my daily driver for at least a year or so. Appreciate the help in advance.
Look into Saddleback. I have their thin briefcase, able to house a laptop, couple of notebooks, but that's about it. It's heavy though, but also pretty much indestructible. I treat it the opposite of how I treat my LV, and Burberry portfolio/briefcases.

Which color did you get and do you happen to have any pics?

You can type in "saddleback" in the search box on my blog and pictures should show up.

You can also Google saddleback thin briefcase. Lots of other people have it too. I got it as a cheaper alternative to my more expensive bags. Like stated it's really heavy. I wouldn't use it if I had to public commute.

BLK DNM Leather 31 for $498

If they only had a small.

I went inside All Saints to try on their Creighton or whatever its called leather. Smooth as hell, $720 though smh.

I've always wondered this but never bothered to ask. Can someone explain to me what "lasts" means when referring to shoes

Lasts are essentially the shape of the shoe. Some may be rounded, bulbous, chiseled, or squared.

Some Lasts are not built for everyone. For example, if you have a very wide foot, you should avoid narrowly chiseled stylings.

My understanding is that AS is sh** but I have no direct handling experience.

BLK DNM is great when there's an extreme disco.

All Saints leather felt great, had a good weight on it as well.

If wj4 is saying BLK DNM is a little better then thats great. Size medium would be snug on me? Im about 5'10, 160. Size 38 or 40 in jackets. I want it snug so it breaks in a little loose. Like I said, a small in All Saints leather.

I think it depends on how you want your jacket to fit. I am almost certain All Saints fits slimmer than BLK DNM.

Damn. Two 5'10 Filipinos in here. I round up and say i'm 5'7. My brother is 5'11, dunno how that happened. My parents probably gave him hgh when he was a baby.

Can you guys recommend a good (preferably cheap) option for slim-fit pants, jeans or otherwise. I currently wear 501's but I'm looking for something slimmer all the way around (thigh, calf, leg opening, low rise) without giving up much, if any comfort. Something for the office that will look good with a pair of Clark's and a slim-fit sport shirt. I'm 6'0 190

You already have 501's, why not go for Levi's slimmer cuts?

511 or 514 if those are too slim for you.

Uniqlo Slim Fit Tapereds are decent, and not too expensive
