Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Exactly. You made a joke. You offended someone. Just say, "My bad bruh, I was just joking"

Pride is a helluva drug.

Anyone familiar with the fit and feel of PRPS, Nudie and Naked denim?  I like the styling of all three, PRPS in particular looks pretty baggy and stiff, while the other two look particularly slim. And while I like the distressing of some of the models of PRPS, how do they look in real-life? I'm not into the "fashion" jean/rapper look, I just like some of my jeans to be a bit different. Can anyone weigh in on these aspects.

For references purposes, I generally wear Joe's and 7's.

your question is a little too generic. all three brands offer numerous fits and styles. you are bound to find something you like among any of them.

dude's in here really reaching to act offended.  Anyways southern frat dawgs and prepsters been rocking the 5 inch shorts since the beginning of time

Haha, Definitely a lot of feels in here. Used to be a ton of information though, just gotta filter through the nonsense.
All good things must come to an end. People finished college, got jobs, married, etc.

Word. Dude was going hard for nothing. Maybe its the fact that his photo business is in his sig. I don't think it was always there. He is using the plight of the gay community to try and attract business. Disgusting.

Watch that spin.

Another challenger appears.
Not a challenger by any means. Usually when someone says they are offended by something you said, the courteous/gentleman-like/nice person/human being/etc type thing to do is to offer an apology, not berate the person. Maybe you will learn this as you mature. It seems as if you have yet to learn empathy.

He's a big boy let him stand on his own two feet. Especially when dude doesn't know anything about me and making some wild accusations. You and him can piss off.

I really miss the rfx version of this thread.

For sure. He was/is a valuable contributor to NT in general in my opinion, and was in this thread specifically but the success of this thread back then was due in part to several members so if we're giving credit, make sure some of the other OG's get credit too. Those from back in the old thread even before this new one. Nii, Wis, Steezy a while back, Sartega, Adrian, Carlin, to name a few off the top of my head...

Of course there were MANY more members that contributed but those key players successfully helped shape the thread and though I barely post on NT, this thread certainly played the main role in my transition.

It's not what it used to be for sure but that's not entirely the current posters' fault though.

Like Wis stated earlier, things simply change. In the beginning, it was almost a journey for most of us leaving streetwear into the vast world of menswear. That transitional phase coupled with the growing popularity of menswear in general in fashion made for a great thread. Menswear hype just isn't as big as it was a while back.

But in regards to posters, some, like Nii and RFX weren't new to menswear and seemed to genuinely enjoy ushering newbies in and others were just as excited to learn and share and most of all help each other.

Damn near everybody feels like they have s*** on lock now, which is totally fine, we should by now lol but that shifts the dynamic a bit but it's not the worst. This could now just become like what the high end designer threads are, or most of the other threads on NT, where people all just share and talk about what they like/buy/wear/want to buy and is not so much of a thread to learn from. Don't just let the thread just die though.
