Yeah, the slim RRL's are truly slim. I thought they would stretch a little but they haven't. The stacking on the legs is good though and will have nice whiskering whenever I finally wash them.

Newbie to rl denim, right now they look like #ntdenim taking 2 pairs to get tailored. what's do I ask my tailor if I just want the jeans a bit tighter from the knees down and a tapered opening?

You tell him you want them tapered from the knees down. It'd be helpful to tel him how many inches you want the leg opening to be if you're not gonna get fitted for it. I've not owned a pair of any label RL jeans that didn't need tapering. D&S has a new tapered straight fit this year so i might check those out, otherwise all my jeans go to the tailor.

On a related note, does anyone have experience with getting selvedge denim tapered while maintaining the selvedge stitching for cuffing purposes? The stitch is so wide after getting a bootcut tapered it looks ridiculous.

I don't remember any orders being cancelled. Once the code died, it was over. Plenty of people did multiple orders (it last for almost 2 weeks I think).
