Let's not kid our selves here, this movie will make money on name alone. Spider-Man 3 made money. Transformers 2-3 made money. Iron man 2-3 made money. This will make money

I kind of see where Fox is coming from though. You guys want to to decipher the whole movie and each individual character/plot/photo/any post credit scenes before the movie even comes out and then go "omg it's gonna suck, i hate them, gonna netflix it, bootleg it, boycott it"

So looking at all the material (that they've released) and constructively talking about it is wrong? I mean I can see if they don't like it but to point that you contact the forum and bring up fraudulent claims?

But in all seriousness, I feel that whenever studios go overboard with the advertising, the movie itself is just serving a purpose to drive ad-revenue and NOT entertain the fans. I was a bit skeptical when they named the movie Days of Future Past because I felt that they were just trying to win fans over on the name. I hope I'm wrong and that this movie is enjoyable.

Again, if we were heaping praise upon praise about this movie and speaking on how much we all loved the first 5 installments, and the fact that Hugh Jackman doesn't appear in every single scene, then Fox would love this thread.
I don't see Marvel getting on us for hyping their movies, even when they have a misstep like Iron Man 3, Thor 2 and Cap 2 quickly repaired the damage and the fans are reacting positively to the franchise as a whole.
Because we don't speak that way for Fox, they want to hush us up.

This situation is really perplexing, it really is almost impossible to comprehend why Fox would ask to take down a poster they released themselves to the public?
What's even funnier is that the ones that got taken down were the multiple posters where Jackman was in most of them but the poster that says "Hugh Jackman" even though he isn't in the poster weren't taken down?
Still, no matter how you feel about the film, I don't think the thread should be taken down and a Fox thread never be made again. I know about 90% already hate the film before it comes out but who knows, it might surprise a few and we can always just bash it again after you see it and it sucks and in the end it'll backfire on Fox further if the thread does pop out on Google as much it does that Fox feels it had to threaten the forum with legal actions.
When a news or pic relating to a Fox films comes out and you want to share, just post the link.

No i don't "work for fox" but I see the same complaints in all xmen movie threads. You guys have already written it off before it even comes out. I'm not taking fox's side but like i said I understand why they would want to "hush up" niketalk. I didn't say I agree with it though.
