That was a slight jab at my man.....An achilles can rupture or tear, not break.  Thanks for the med school lesson, though.

This shoe makes me so happy that people aren't crazy hyped about Adidas like Nikes. Nice to know that I can wait awhile for a sale and a coupon code to get what appears to be a high quality basketball shoe.
 
Saw them in person today. Quality on the greys isn't quite up there with the leather on the black/reds, but it looks like a good shoe.

What were they thinking with the Rose 2.0 lows? :x

im the opposite. i want them to make them jordan colorways like the old school jordans. white/grey/black or red. the 2, 3, 4, and 5 colors.

i forget which rose shoe it was but they put a lil grey in their black/red colorway. i thought it looked dope.

i hope they do the grey/white/red colorway in reverse

anybody have these early? how are they for balling?
 
i wish my experience with the 1.5s wasnt so bad or i would cop.... adidas kill my knees... not enough cushion

bleh the only one i like is the first ones. the red ones should have been an all red upper. that white part on ankle looks weird. thanks for the pics
 
You have to see this in person.. Pics doesn't do this shoe any justice at all.. (at least for me) .. bought the black/red colorway and its just beautiful man, haven't played in it tho.. it's my first Drose shoe so i have no idea how light his shoes were.. definitely worth my money..
 
just grabbed both home and aways for 160 total from the campus today. LOVE the shoe. personal details on each are amazing, and for the guy saying these look cheap its because people think anything compared to nike look cheap especially because of the fact that adidas doesn't necessarily "display" their technology such as a big air max bubble, flywire, etc. and yes these were previewed WAY before the superfly. people will continue to make a connection from an adidas shoe to nike, one of my coworkers wanted a picture of all my pickups and i showed her the shoes and she sayd "thye look cool, almost a nike style look to it" granted she's nike biased (who in oregon isn't really).... but yes these shoes must be seen in person!
 
Picked up my pair from campus also this weekend. Luckily noticed some kid on the way out with Rose socks and asked where he got them. Found the special bball event and picked up a couple things. Grabbed the grey pair, didn't like how the black pair looked in person. Cushioning is horrendous, just like the 2.5s. Its a bit disappointing considering how great the upper is.

Not sure what the big fuss is over the similarities between these and the superflys is all about. Both shoes were likely in development at the same time. Unless you're privy to Nike and adidas product development, you really won't know which was designed first.

I do love the elite type socks adidas is putting out. Think they're better than the nike elite socks.

|I dammit adidas put more cushioning in these rose sigs. Ill have to try them on for myself, but they tend to do that with the rose line and I have no idea why
 
The Grey one's look good for casual wear. I'll be purchasing the Grey ones....maybe the black ones too when they go down on price. Would've gotten both of them if they were $110 a piece. These will also be my first D-Rose shoe.

I'm guess he went to the basketball event at the adidas Village last Saturday. It was a big, basketball-focused retail event, sort of a "back-to-school" thing, with everything 50% off. There were 200 pairs of the D Rose 3 for sale. Nico Batum, Dame Lillard and Nolan Smith were there to sign autographs.
 
Anyone got info on how I can track down that all navy with gold D Rose 773 colorway? I checked my local Adidas stores, the Adidas website, and kind of got screwed over on a cancelled order from Eastbay. Looking for a size 8.5.
