They shelled out money to the right players... Those guys looked like they had done this before... Nkemdiche was a beast for sure... His strength and agility is something special... Its crazy to think he is going to be some technician out the gate... Young man hopefully sees 3 years down the road and starts hitting the film room
 
yea Ole Miss youngins looked great last night....first game ...primetime...and they played like they were used to it

Thats what ESPN does mane, they all about hype :smh: ...went to check the stats and of course the headline had Clowney in it, even tho he aint do nothing special this game

If the Ole Miss-Vandy game was any indication of how the season will play out we are all in for a treat this year! Can't wait for tomorrow!! GO HOGS

W/o the Vincent Smith unblocked hit/recovery are we even getting this type of coverage/hype?

Hell, Taylor Lewan won that battle in the end.

Last night he said that Vandy had a good drop (on their last drive) because if the RB bought the ball he'd be in the middle of the field & the clock would keep running.

Nevermind the fact that:

1.) Had the RB caught the ball he would have gotten a 1st down and the clock would have stopped
2.) .......Vandy still had 2 timeouts

I said the same thing to a friends when Millen said that, mostly about the 1st down aspect and if he forgot how college football works.

Ole Miss definitely got their money's worth, still wish we would've upped the ante with kid's mom.

Yes you're getting this kind of hype when the best player in the nation is playing in the opening game on the opening night of the season.

& Somehow Taylor Lewan's performance vs Clowney has been morphed into something it was not, by lots of ppl

On a serious note, the only thing I was disappointed in was his conditioning.

Palmer claims he was taking plays off and that clearly wasn't the case. Dude was simply GASSED.

UNC was throwing a variation of a screen 75% of the time Renner dropped back.

Hell, he didn't really even have too many realistic chances to rush the passer.

Did anyone see that play were JDC rushed 5 yards in towards the QB from the strong side on a delayed pitch, ball is pitched and he proceeds to turn around and chase down the back within 10-12 yards or so.
