Figured you'd be in Houston taking care of your dog or something

i brought her friday night. she HATES strangers. sure enough, i get to my brothers place and he's having a party and she flips ****

Is Bo Scarborough gonna decommit from Bama?

Wonder how true that chatter is
I've been hearing this also. I heard we're recruiting him very hard which makes not much sense to me being that we only have 5-6 ships left and we want to fill 5/6 with defensive players (Keyon Brown, Lorenzo Carter, Rashaan Evans, Elisha Shaw, OT David Sharpe etc)...unless Bo doesn't mind playing FB/TE or ILB I cant see him coming to UGA, but ppl I talk to that know first hand what's goin on in our recruiting department say there's a good chance.

I believe the HC at the Florida school Bo transferred to is Chris Rix

saban isn't going anywhere. he's built a pro factory, why would he move to restart the process?
To prove that he is indeed the GOAT?

This guy doesn't exactly have a track record of staying in the same spot.

Not trying to say he's going anywhere at all, but...

moving to possibly the only program that has more resources than the program he's at now..would further his case of being the GOAT? i don't buy it.

You don't buy him leaving or you don't buy him winning title(s) at Texas further cementing his legacy?

Maybe he's looking for a new challenge?

I'm just playing devil's advocate, but I don't see why it isn't worth entertaining at all.

I don't think it would be the smartest move considering what he's got going at Bama but some coaches like new challenges. He's proven he can rebuild Bama into the premier program currently so he might want to do the same at Texas. I guess the SEC to Big XII thing could be looked at two ways, it is less of a challenge and therefore less of an accomplishment but it would also be an opportunity to show he can build another program in not nearly as strong of a conference into the premier team that can take on SEC powerhouses.

Not saying I believe the rumor but just a couple initial angles why he could consider it.

Plus, he has no loyalty to Alabama. They couldn't even be mad at him if he left after all that he gave them.

$ might not mean anything to him at this point, but Texas could easily double it.

Saban in Austin would be downright scary. The resources.

I don't even want to think about it...

the only reason i can really see him leaving for would be if alabama undergoes some sort of investigation.

i just don't see rebuilding texas as that great. this has nothing to do with my A&M bias either.

everyone talks about the amount of "resources" texas has. he's not exactly struggling with a lack of resources. his legacy would be just fine sitting at bama and running off championships. if anything, he'd probably get slack if he went to the big 12.

Something tells me Saban wants a new challenge, word to his entire track record/career in coaching.

When is the last time Texas was perennial  (key-word) national title contenders?

It sure wasn't the Mack Brown era.

Winning 1 national title at Texas would be more gratifying than 2-3 more at Bama at this point, IMO.

Especially with the new playoff format.

My dude could become a combo of Paul Bear Bryant and Rick Pitino on steroids.

Texas hasn't been a National contender every year at any point in time in my 30 years on earth.

Maybe from 2005-2009 but that's pushing it.
