Why so funny to you? Did you forget you gave up 30+ against Boston college?

Pig, Quez, Cam, Vereen & JRM keep me thinking positive.

Puzzled as to why Pig hasn't been the focal point of the offense up until Uga game.

5 Wins is doable, 6 would mean we pulled out a game we shouldn't have.

Season is salvageable with 2 season ending Ws. If not, blah

kids buying in tho, especially the youngin

**juco LT dontavius Blair committed to Vols

We had to have him. Tiny will forego his senior yr and Dumb *** Dooley took Zero OL two yrs ago.

Adoreé will take his final officials at UF, LSU, Tennessee & Oregon. He just took one to Oklahoma

Yea, he's guaranteed a starting spot at UT. That's gonna be a lot of good lineman to replace :smh:

David shaw effecttively telling Sarkisian to shut the hell up:

"I don't usually open with a statement but it's obviously necessary this week. Hopefully, we'll get to talk about Utah, but I think this is necessary first... First and foremost, we do not fake injuries. We never have, we never will. The only time it's come up is laughing at other people who we believe have done it. Because we don't believe in it. It's not right. I don't care what Steve Sarkisian thinks he saw. We didn't do it against Oregon, and we're for sure not going to do it against Washington.

"I have strict instructions from every boss that I have on campus, from the president of the university to the provost to our athletic director, to run a program that's above reproach, that doesn't do anything questionable. We don't allow it, we don't teach it, we don't coach it. We don't tell our kids what to say. Ask them whatever questions, and they'll answer you. You guys know that. I've been charged with operating a program with integrity, without question. There's no doubt in what we're doing and how we're doing it.

"Secondly, I believe it's unprofessional to call out an assistant coach on another team. It's unprofessional and it's disrespectful. The only D-line coach that I know of that's ever instructed players to fake injury works at the University of Washington, and not Stanford. That's not calling someone out; that's stating a fact. There was punishment, there's been admittance, and we've all moved on from it. That's the only case that I know of.

"There's another comment that I have to address: 'I guess that's how we play here at Stanford.' How we play here at Stanford is averaging 5.5 penalties a game. One of the least penalized teams in the nation. How we play here at Stanford has led to three BCS bowl games in a row, a Pac-12, a Rose Bowl, and an Orange Bowl championship, and a 100 percent graduation rate. We're one of the most well-respected programs in the nation. I'm not going to put that all on the line just to beat Washington.

"Built into that also is that we beat Washington five out of six times. Last year they beat us, and it was hard. It was tough to take. But, we took it. They beat us. They outplayed us. They made more plays than we did. They won the game. I shook the head coach's hand, congratulated him, and told them they played a heck of a game. Some of you guys were there. That postgame press conference was hard. I didn't blame anybody else. We took it upon ourselves for not making enough plays. I think that's what coaches should do: Handle it with mutual respect and dignity.

Shaw needs to get over himself, every defense fakes injuries.

No one can convince me Skov wasn't faking.

And then shutout an explosive Maryland 63-0

BC is much improved from last year, new staff, and with them coming off a bye, were able to add a few new wrinkles into the offense. Defensive issues in that game were more fundamental ie taking on blocks with good positioning and leverage. Not worried at all as the season continues. It is a completely different system from last year so a step back is expected

Before the FSU game Maryland beat

Florida International
Old Dominion
Uconn
West Virginia

so just by seeing them play these cup cakes you thought they had a explosive offense?

FSU havent been tested really to give them a grade

BC is garbage and they still put up points against FSU

If FSU can go undefeated or go with only one loss I will give them some credit

there schedule is easy tho if they can get past Clemson

Miami isnt the old U they still rebuilding same thing with Florida

I think having to comeback from being down 17-3 is a 'test' for the team, or any team for that matter, esp a team who tends to play ****** on the road (16 pts vs NCSU, Only 30 pts vs USF, 33 vs Miami, etc). Though they probably should not have been in that predicament in the 1st place. That 35-3 run showed me all that I needed to see.

Miami & Florida are definitely more formidable than you seem to be giving them credit for. Florida probably has the best defense in the nation and Miami has improved defensively

Kirk Ferentz was quoted as saying he may give up on returning punts this season, because a few teams have fake punted against them and got first downs.

And Oregon still hasn't played anyone with a formidable pass rush or defense for that matter

Nicholls State, Tennessee, UVA, Colorado, and Cal are hardly formidable teams, with each of those FBS teams Oregon have played being bottom feeders of each of theirs conference. Not to mention 3 out of those 5 teams with new coaches and new systems.

We all know Oregon has an explosive offense, but Mariota is still completing under 60% of his passes,

Truth be told Oregon still has not been tested Defensively or Offensively either although like FSU and the other top 6 to 8 teams they have passed the "Eye" test

I read where Derrick Green is finally under 240 lbs geeeeeeeesus. :smh: he shoulda went to wisconsin
