2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

Ohio St should just say **** it and go independent.

The Big Ten is a joke.

Ohio State Network :nerd:

I wouldn't worry too much about it, conferences will realign once again before the start of the next decade.

The four team playoff is going to be huge, ratings and attendance wise, they'll see $$$$$ in expanding it.

Gameday, finally on campus... :smokin:smokin:smokin

I can't wait, I'm trying to think of something good for a sign

Setting up in McCarthy Quad, not by Tommy Trojan, but good enough.

Hated that 95% of Gameday commercials were filmed on campus, but actual gameday was at the Coliseum...

Grind my gears...

Where you hear this at

Sony said it

Even with an April pledge to Georgia, that hasn’t slowed down Miami’s pursuit of the four-star running back from Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage.
“Miami is the only still recruiting me besides Georgia,” Michel told 247Sports on Thursday at his school. “(Running backs) coach (Hurlie) Brown is still recruiting me hard and says he’s not going to give up.”
Michel spoke to Al Golden when he attended Miami’s home game against Wake Forest a few weeks ago.
“He said he finally have a chance to make his way to the top,” Michel said. “They basically over the program and they are trying to build it.”
Even so, the nation’s No. 6 running back remains firm to Georgia.
“As of right now I’m not looking to visit anywhere,” Michel said. “Probably not. I’m locked in with the Dawgs.”
One element to monitor is the status of his brother, Marken Michel, who played wide receiver for two years at UMass.
“He’s probably going to transfer to Georgia,” Michel said. “But that’s still up in the air. He’s looking at FAU and FIU, too, so we’ll see.”

Thank goodness for the playoffs next season.

Urban and staff doing work :smokin

Bielema is in the midst of an entire rebuild at Arkansas, but he has some very nice young pieces to build around. Defensively, they need to throw the house at whomever visits.

Here's what teams look like when you back out Baylor's game

http://www.ourdailybears.com/2013/11/4/5065178/the-baylor-effect-week-10

The effect is clearly dramatic. Looks like you are using YPG, but the linked article has both YPG and PPG. For instance, Buffalo goes from being 39th in the nation in points allowed to being 7th when you remove the Baylor game and from 49th in the nation in yards allowed to 12th in the nation. ULM goes from 76th in the nation in points allowed to 41st when you remove the Baylor game and from 78th in yards allowed to 36th.

Baylor destroys their opponents so thoroughly it echoes throughout the rest of their season.

Let me tell you how Baylor has affected the ranking of all these crappy teams no one cares about. :smokin

For those of you that care about your time don't click the link.

No offense the poster that posted it.

Yes, Baylor post some incredible numbers, but taking away one whole game from their stats will definitely improve anyone's ranking.

 mannnnnn i have no idea. Theres some confusion on if he can take 32 or 30.
Im thinking some guys will flip and it will work out. But he's cutting it close. *shrugs* maybe he's willing to oversign and eat the penalty in '2015 (I hope not)

Waiting to see David Sharpe and Adoree. Those two would set the class off.
No worries on Malone *snickers*

I still dont think Weatherd will be in the class. Suspect on Raulerson as well.

My buddy thats a Vol fan says Butch has found a loophole possibly that allows oversigning.

SEC is 25 signings in a class correct?

I know you can backcount EEs
