Ended up using 100% acetone and the midsole paint came of quick.
Used black ink to turn the poison green into an olive, I'm happy with the outcome but I'll have to do another coat of ink probably.
Are you going for the olive look or black?
I'd recommend a black dye applicator (kind of like liquid shoe polish) if you want to go for black...
Something like this:

I've tried it on suede/nubuck with no issues... Turned a pair of olive 9's into an all black pair back in like 02-03...

First NikeTalk post and my first pick-up in March. I was skeptical about ordering the Obsidian colorway instead of the Night Stadium, but I'm really happy with these on feet. I'm usually a size 10 and sized up to 10.5 in these. Now if the weather would just warm up....

Haven't checked this thread in a while... caught them on a sale without the codes lol but I'm #happy
I'm glad I slept on them when they first released so I copped them under retail at the end of the day

I kept waiting for the Night Stadium colorway to end up on sale, but had some bad luck actually making that happen, like being a few minutes late when Bows & Arrows discounted them.
They really looked like they were starting to dry up, so I was just about to drop around $200 for a pair when someone put up a new size 11 on Ebay for $160 shipped. I was feeling pretty good about that price until I came into this thread.
Anyway, really looking forward to them. I plan on attempting to speckle/splatter the midsole when they arrive. Hopefully it will be as easy as it appears to be.

IMO the NRGs are the best of them all. I don't know if I'll get any others. Maybe the obsidian if they go for cheaper.

Was holding off on buying a pair of Night Stadium in hopes they'd go on sale, and then they sold out and shot up to $230 on eBay
Luckily I just bought a pair for $170 shipped and I can't wait for them to come in

Just picked them up and LOVE the style. They are super snug though... i read on here that they "break in over 8 hours or so. I went TTS with my other frees (11.5). Here is a pic of where my toe is when sitting...so I assume I'm ok and didn't need to go a 1/2 size up. Thoughts?

Yeah you're good. Just loosen the laces and the weave and it will form to your foot. Good times!

Wow damn. I didn't know the black pair would sell out. I didn't know these were popular. I'm sitting here chilling until spring waiting for a price break and I go on to check if that happened and see the opposite! Sold out in every size but size 14. Damn.
