THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

Arlington ain't but 20 minutes from Dallas so you should be good.
Just looked at our schedule and the home games are wack.
Saints game is too early in the season.
yeah.. they did us dirty with the scheduling this year.. before schedule released i was plannin to hit the saints and seattle games.  being that those games are almost back to back (week 4 & 6), its not lookin too good for me.  plus those games are some of the hardest on the schedule, wouldnt sit to well w/ me spending my hard earned cash to witness the boys being slaughtered.. smh.

Rather go to a game when I know there's a possibility of being in contention than to go in December when we could possibly be 5-8

I purposfully go to games in September/October for that reason. I couldn't imagine getting tickets for that Colts game in December only for December to roll around and we've already been mathmatically eliminated from the playoffs.

Lets support our team regardless and not be fairweather fans like other football teams have ... Im from cali and i hope to make it to arlington again this year !!! Win or Lose its a great experiece and best stadium by far

I live in they bay area and we've got a group going for the 49ers game

Could've had Manziel...........................:rolleyes

lol you guys know I wanted him so you know I thought it was a mistake passing on him

Dallas MUST draft a QB next year, no choice now

I respect your football analysis but manziels gonna be trash **** I'd rather have weeden real talk at least he has the size to play in the Nfl (doesn't check any of the other boxes) manziel will be just like Tebow in three years

I want Marriota, that would be amazing but that means we had a terrible season

I agree, I think Martin is really good and makes our OL young and beastly, but what if he isn't that good of an NFL player? That pick will go down as a major miss and failure, it's going to be interesting to see that play out. It's very very very similar to the Greg Ellis/Randy Moss thing.

I'd take marriota over manziel but I'm not a fan of any QB coming from Oregon

and no it will be nothing like that because moss was a greatest of all time type talent not an undersized QB that will be out the league in 5 years

Saints game is great just for the atmosphere.
It's literally a 65-35 Cowboys Saints fans ratio.
Went to the 2012 game and Dez couldn't be stopped by anybody in a Saints uniform.
So Jason Garrett stepped in and helped them out with his second half play calling.

You go to the games for the entertainment, not solely for the outcome.
The outcome is important but just being able to watch a good game live is always awesome.
I'll never forget being at the Thanksgiving game when Randy Moss went stir crazy on our defense.
It was hard to watch and an enjoyment to watch at the same time.
Wish I could have been at the Thanksgiving game when Barry Sanders went HAM!
Detroit had on their throwback jerseys and helmets that game too.

I'm with you you, go to a game to go to a game. If I want to watch a game I'll watch it at home for free with cheap food and beer and see more of what's going on

I've been to two thanksgiving day games now and both were a bit of a disappointment energy wise I have a feeling I'll also be let down by opening night this year

Let down opening night?????
Niners - Cowboys will be a good game because the stadium will be electric.
It's legions of 49er fans in Dallas and they are going to be up in there thick with them dingy asss Jerry Rice jerseys on

Yeah I'm going with about twenty of them myself (went with over 200 raider fans on thanksgiving) every time I've be been it just doesn't get loud or crazy two years ago in Atlanta cowboy fans were way more into the game (first loss I've ever been to) Arizona on Christmas was amazing the traveling fans are just crazy I guess I may never go back after this year just away games for me for a while until it's not the "cool" thing to do in dallas/fort worth/arlington area

I've probably mentioned it before but it was like that here at Pac bell for close to a decade business types just went to say they went most didn't even pay attention to the game

If Rolando McClain ends up suiting up to start the season, how good do y'all think he will be ?

I really can't expect anything more then a run stopper or someone to rush the QB at first he wasn't great in coverage in Oakland (where I live so I've seen him more then a few times) coming down hill his size/power and instincts can take over

That's if his trial on Friday goes well

big year actually

1. Jason Garret will probably get fired, because we aren't winning more than 6-7 games, so a new coach

2. Romo will probably either have a good season or get hurt again, leading us to drafting a young QB in the draft

I think those are two huge storylines that will impact this team for the future, after this season I think we see a new shift in direction

also Dez and Murray are in contract years, we cannot afford to lose Dez

Question for my cowboys fan brethren. That party pass ticket. What does that give you access to in the stadium. I'm going to the 49ers game week 1. I seen the ticket prices are real high, but the party pass tickets are pretty reasonable. I don't mind spending the bread on a ticket if that party pass sucks but I'm just weighing my options.

Any helpful responses would be appreciated.

You have access to all the things a normal ticket gets you access to. You will just have to stand in front of the end zone all game tho just hope you get there early if not I hope you are tall

Depending on where you are coming from I would recommend getting a ticket I got my tickets for the 9er game for 325 a piece bottom deck 10 yard line. I'm coming from SF though so no way am I standing for 4+ hours not worth it for me just my .02
