I like the design of the FR4s. The FR2-like toe and the exposed Flywire are a good look. If that blue/orange colorway is a launch CW, I'm getting it for the summer.

Here's my FR hierarchy: FR2s > FR4s > FR3s > FRs

will cop. but it looks like this year as well there is no simple GR black/white release. that original og FR2 colorway..

the FR4 looks like its following the theme of last years.. FR3

Would've been nicer if it was WHITE and not like a light grey. but it still worked. but from the pic on the first post of the FR4, there is even less contrast.me

oh well, my girl and i love these shoes for everyday and will still cop

They BARELY have a sockliner, but the EM looks nice though. This year's Free line-up is a underwhelming. I'm pretty excited about the new FRs hitting iD (as usual) though! haha

I think the FKxFree can make things very interesting. #wewantpics

The 3.0 V5s look pretty decent as well. The highly perforated upper looks MUCH better than the upper on the V4s.

Like the FR2s to the FR4s, the only 3.0 model I'd place over the V5s are the V3s.

At this point, I hope that further pictures only enhance the shoe's design.

Where can I find pics of the 3.0 V5s?

What are the abbreviations of where the pics are coming from like "IG" and "TT"?

I'm disappointed in the FR4's, i guess I was expecting that flyknit mesh :\

sample pic I found on the bay, hopefully the shoe grows on me when it releases.

so far for me in terms of looks FR2 >>FR3. in terms of fit and performance FR3>FR2

the FR4 seems to have the same midsole/bottom sole as the FR3 so I'm expecting them to perform the same as the FR3's or better.

[COLOR=#red]This shoe is still releasing; it won't officially be FR4 but just Free NSW (5.0 tooling). The color options are much better than the sample and generally the shoe is better aesthetically in comparison to the FR4. Performance it should be subpar though, given that it's an NSW setup.

I own the black/white FR2, the running feeling is really comfortable, feel no presure on calf.

I own a ascis neo33,too, but I like FR2 better.

I'm thinking that the flyknits that release this year are going to be my focus since these fr4's don't look too promising. I might cop just for an everyday shoe/beater.

Free Run 2 >>>>

But the FR3 was a lot more comfy IMO, rain mostly on the treadmill and while I'll run in either the 2 or 3 comfortably, if they were both sitting by the door and I had to pickup a pair to run in, 90% of the time ill choose the 3's.

The problem with these 4's IMO is not the flywire but the toebox...looks so weird.

I actually like the look of the new V3s. I would cop on sale. I also like the FreeRun 4s aesthetically. But i won't buy a pair if the FreeKnit rumors come true. I would rather just have a flyknit upper on the free sole.

Flyknit Frees have been confirmed! There's already a list with the stylecode/cws (no pics though).

I'm interested to see what these will look like, when the original flyknit trainers/racers came out, I wondered how they would look as a FR. Time will tell...:smokin

fudge didnt know 4s are coming out, i hope they arnt too much better than 3s in performance cause i just ordered a pair of 3s using my gold membership discount
